With spring coming up and tons of eggs to hatch I wanted to get a new incubator to go with my other one so I can really get max amount of chicks! LOL. This came very well packed and secured and everything was exactly as described in the ad. Nothing was damaged or missing from delivery and the directions were clear and easy to read. If you are familiar with using an incubator though this is pretty self-explanatory. All the buttons are very well labeled and it's the same idea as pretty much any incubator. You simply put the eggs in there and you can adjust all your settings. I love the way that you can adjust the humidity level in this much easier than my other one where you have to take the whole lid off and do all that stuff. I love that this has an egg candling spot to you and it has so much space for eggs. Very user friendly. I tested it out this past week and it held temperature all night long every night without a single issue. Very easy to set to whatever your needs are and you're good to go. It'll even turn the eggs for you! Total game changer! Definitely a solid 10 out of 10 great quality product

Overall, this is a good incubator and I'm glad I got it. It functioned just fine, the temperature and humidity levels held steady despite my cold house and were easy to adjust. It was easy to set up, and everything that was listed came in the box. I appreciate the squeeze bottle for adding water to the reservoir. The instruction booklet that came with it was clear and informative, although I always recommend researching what time, temp and humidity level your species of egg needs rather than just going off the insert. So the drawbacks were minor but threefold, so I took one star off to account for all three. *The candling light was too weak to light my medium brown/darm brown eggs properly. In daylight or at night, I felt like I couldn't quite get an accurate gauge. A white or light brown egg ought to be just fine, and I can always use a flashlight like I've done before so not a huge issue. *The off-gassing was insane. Definitely plug this in and let in run a while in a ventilated room or outside before putting eggs into it to account for this. I set it up in my house and had to turn it off and move it. For a migraine sensitive person like me, this was an eye-wateringly strong sort of situation and gave me a headache. *This is the most important issue I ran into. The egg turning function worked in a timely manner and rolled the eggs smoothly and easily. BUT I had a couple long, large eggs and they struggled to turn about 75% of the time. I've hatched eggs in home incubators in the past and they need reliable turning to be successful. Again, this is workable: use normal sized eggs that fit the egg slots. The ones in my batch like that turned fine. Comparing this to my past egg incubator however, I am not a big fan of the turning tray; my previous one had more of a grate system that worked for chicken eggs of varying lengths. If you are considering this incubator, I'd say go ahead and get it. It is sturdy and functions properly when used properly. Just of note and not a drawback; I unplugged this and plugged it back in to see if it would keep my settings (testing a pretend power flicker) and it did not. My previous one didn't either. Make sure to keep a journal of what day you are on and what your temp/humidity should be at, just in case!

Neighbor has chickens, I get free eggs. I'm thinking of starting my own small brood, so being able to essentially raise them from eggs seems like a fun project. It's too cold to attempt now as transferring them outside when they're big enough would be problematic, but this kit has everything you need to start or expand your brood.

I’ve had it on for several days cannot get it to 100 degrees . Ask cannot get it to stay at 45 percent humidity! Ugh this is so frustrating!
