  • Built Like a Tank with Smart Presets—But Expect a Learning Curve at Setup
The media could not be loaded. Right out of the box, the first thing I noticed was the smell. It had a strong disinfectant/plastic odor, so I highly recommend airing it out for a day or two and wiping everything down before putting eggs inside. You’ll also want to remove the film on the front glass door. Another early frustration: there are basically no real assembly instructions. There is a small booklet, but nothing explaining where the rollers go or how to set up the turning tray wires. I had to take an educated guess and luckily got it right, but beginners may find this part confusing. The power cord is also quite short—I really wish it were 6–8 feet long for easier placement. Now for the good stuff, because there’s a lot of it. This incubator is built like a tank. It feels extremely solid, and the design keeps the eggs in a darker environment since three of the panels are solid—which is actually important for incubation stability. The preset programs are fantastic: chicken, duck, goose, quail, and pigeon. Taking the guesswork out of temperature and humidity settings is a huge benefit, especially for anyone newer to hatching. You manually enable the rollers with a button, and the trays are easy to remove and reinstall. There’s also an interior light, and two ceiling fans that help circulate air and maintain consistent moisture levels. Everything feels very intentional and thoughtfully designed. One thing to note about the advertised capacity: it claims to hold 136 eggs, but that really depends on what type you’re incubating. For standard chicken eggs, I’d estimate closer to about 50–80 eggs depending on breed size (full-size vs. bantam). Cleanup also looks like it will be simple. The interior surfaces wipe clean easily, and the trays are designed to catch shells so you shouldn’t end up with eggs stuck directly to the bottom after a hatch. When I’m ready to run a hatch, I feel confident this machine will perform accurately. I’ll update the review after a successful hatch, but I wanted to share a first-look impression for anyone researching incubators. The current price is around $300 — and honestly, yes, I think it’s worth it. The build quality alone stands out, and the presets remove a lot of the trial and error you normally deal with. You can really see the precision and care that went into designing it. *** I also included pictures of the operating manual for those that wanted to see what this incubator can do. I also created a pdf document of the manual, but unfortunately, I can't upload that for the review. ... show more

  • This is a commercial rig
Perhaps smaller size than full egg farm, but definitely to a professional level for the quality of it and the features.

  • Lacks assembly instructions, poor manual
This Automatic Egg Incubator is quite large, claiming to hold 136 Eggs. It features automatic turning and temperature controls, alarm features and can be used with a 12v battery in cases of power outages. However, there are problems noted with this incubator. First: the assembly instructions are very basic, limited to how to install the rollers on the trays. There is nothing in the manual as to how the tray motors connect to the power supply. There is one power connector inside the cabinet, but each tray has 2 plugs with different ends on each. There are no instructions as to how these are connected. Second: The front access door (referred to as a side door in the manual) came covered in a protective film that is difficult to remove. Third: There is a long, what appears to be a water trough included, but there is no reference in the manual to where it goes or how to use it. It appears to slide into a hole in the back of the incubator, but that’s my guess. Fourth: There is a tray included in the bottom of the cabinet, under the lower egg tray. This tray is also covered in a protective film and is stuck to the bottom via 2 double sided tape strips. The instructions mention adding water to a tray but no other description or even diagram. The unit appears well made, does have plenty of room for a lot of eggs, and comes with a small waterer and food dish along with a spray bottle. The manual does contain instruction and tips for hatching various types of eggs, but overall lacks information on setup or other included accessories. The unit does not have a built in “Candling” light like most other incubators do, but has included a standard cheap “Flashlight” that really is not designed for egg candling at all. Overall this seems like a nice incubator, but the lack of proper instructions as to assemble and accessories along with a standard flashlight for candling egg makes it a bit disappointing for such a unit. It is a good value but definitely not for someone just getting into hatching their own eggs due to its complexity and lack of instruction. ... show more

  • Game-Changer for Home Hatching Projects
The automatic turner and digital temperature/humidity controls take the guesswork out of incubating. I just set it and the incubator handles everything, which is perfect for someone new to hatching or managing large batches. The 136-egg capacity is impressive, and I love that it works with multiple egg types (chicken, duck, goose, pigeon), giving me flexibility to hatch different varieties without needing separate equipment. The digital display is easy to read, and the water refill system is convenient, though I do check it regularly to ensure optimal humidity levels throughout the incubation period. After successfully hatching healthy chicks with solid hatch rates, I'm confident this smart incubator is a reliable investment for serious homesteaders or hobby farmers looking to scale up their hatching operation. ... show more
