  • Amazing incubator.
Holds temperature and humidity with ease. Functions quite the same as most other incubators and the guide to button functionality is printed on top so it’s rather easy to use. I’ve used other incubators around this price range but this is by far the best. Seems like a quality unit that’s assembled well and functions as intended. Incredible value as with other accessories meant for this you can easily adapt it for use with eggs other than chicken such as emu dove quail etc etc. I would highly recommend this incubator. ... show more

  • Hova vs. Nurture Right
We ran a Hova incubator (built in egg turner and fan) against Harris farms nurture right 360 to hatch 3 clutches of chicken and geese eggs that amounted to 40 eggs total. I wanted to see which would be better for our purposes, as they both had great reviews. They both have their own positive and negative attributes, and I think they actually work best in tandem. The Hova had a 66-80% hatch rate, while the nature right had 50%. However, the nature right had more accurate temps and even a built in humidity gauge, but lost heat quicker and built up heat slower (for egg checks) than the more stable hova, being that the hova is styrofoam, and the nature right is plastic topped for viewing. Hova also retained humidity better and I had to add water, less often, but it was a lot messier to add water to than the nature right. I hatch for children, so the nature right was perfect for little eyes to watch, while not disturbing the hatching. What I found best for my situation was to incubate In the hova up to the last 3 days( as it is more stable & a bit less needy, and much higher hatch rate), and then move them to the nature right for the last 3 days (egg turner removed obviously). Then the kids could watch the eggs hatch easily. Overall, if you only want to get one, the hova has a higher hatch rate and is pretty darn stable. ( Hands down, ALWAYS get the egg turner and fan included, no matter what you choose). However, if you have kids and 50% hatch rate is ok by you, the nature right is an excellent choice. They both came with egg lights. The nature right was built into the top and the egg balanced on top. The kids liked that and didn’t fight. Hova came with a flashlight type accessory egg light, which I preferred as an adult. Both are excellent products, you just need to purchase based on your specific needs. Just remember, spend the extra for the egg turner and fan built in! ... show more

  • Excellent incubator! Highly recommended!!! Excellent incubator! Highly recommended!!!
I absolutely love this incubator! I would have given it 6 stars if i could! And here's why.........I did quite a bit of studying and research on incubators in general and knew I didn't want the type that you had to use the Styrofoam packaging to help keep temperatures, and I wanted the eggs to roll, not just rock back and forth like those cheaper ones at farm stores. I always came back to this one but hesitated because of the price, but my husband told me to go ahead and buy it. BOY am I ever so glad I did!!! It is so easy to set-up and I am truly astounded with my success rate of live hatchlings!! First time using the Manna incubator, I only put in 12 chicken eggs. (Now keep in mind I have NEVER used an incubator of any type, ever....so this was my virgin run so to speak.) I love the automatic countdown timer, that is so much easier than trying to keep track on a calendar. When day 19 arrives, which for chickens, is when the Lock-down starts, the egg roller stops turning automatically (youll see that light turn off on top) and thats when you remove the turning tray. The candling light is great! Definitely bright enough to see what you need to see whats going on inside the shells. (Darker/colored shells are more difficult, but the air sack is easily spotted, and the light even turs itself off after 5 minutes. I did invest in a small thermometer/ hydrometer that fit perfectly in the center of the turning tray without inhibiting the turning of the eggs, mostly to monitor how accurate the temperature and humidity was from the top to the egg level. And it was within .5° and about spot on for humidity, so I adjusted the temperature up between. 5 to 1 degree. (Now this works for my kitchen due to my household temperature, yours very well could vary. But I definitely recommend purchasing the additional thermometer. ) Adding water was not complicated nor "labor-intensive", once A side is filled, it was simple to add more when needed, for me it was as easy as looking at the little area that you add the water from the exterior, usually 2x per 24 hours. The success rate I've had, as I said has been phenomenal! 11 live hatches out of 12 1st run. 2nd time I got to work with reloading with 20 hen eggs, to which I got 18 live chicks!! I currently have a full 21 and down to day 12 on the countdown timer, so we'll see how many hatch this time! I absolutely 💯% recommend this incubator to anyone who is interested in trying to hatch their own flock! ... show more

  • Best egg incubator I’ve used
This is hands down the best egg incubator I’ve used. I’ve successfully incubated both chicken and quail eggs with it, and it has worked great every time. The unit is very durable and has held up to heavy, repeated use. I really love the appearance of this incubator, especially the clear top. Being able to watch the chicks hatch without opening it is amazing and helps keep the environment stable. The size is also perfect—not too large, not too small—and easy to manage. It maintains a consistent temperature and keeps the chicks warm while they dry off after hatching, which is so important for their health. I’ve used one incubator so much that it eventually fried from overuse, and I didn’t hesitate to order another one because I liked it that much. Overall, it’s reliable, easy to use, and produces great results. I would absolutely recommend this incubator to anyone incubating chickens or quail. ... show more

  • Worst incubator ever. Worst incubator ever.
Don’t waste your money the incubator can’t keep humidity correctly to save its life, the adjustable vent is so tiny you can’t adjust the humidity to the right percentage. No matter how much or how little water you add, you have to constantly either lift the lid or add warm water. This could be very easily fixed by putting more vents or a bigger one but the designers were not bright enough to figure that out. Its either to way high or way to low. Jumping from 30% to 70% or worse, no matter what you do. The vent does nothing unless you constantly have just the right amount of humidity in the air (which never happens) it’s useless. Lost numerous batches of eggs, chicken, duck, and goose. It’s horrible watching the babies die because they could not get out of their shells. If you get 1 out of ten to hatch that’s about as good as this thing gets and that’s if you constantly keep opening the lid or adding warm water. The rest you can candle and see dead babies inside the shells. Worst design ever! ... show more

  • Success with Ducks and Geese – Good Starter Incubator Success with Ducks and Geese – Good Starter Incubator
We use this incubator for ducks and geese. It works super well for us! It’s got to be one of the most cost effective incubators on the market for its efficiency in hatching. It’s a good size even for geese eggs Im still able to fit a bunch of goose eggs however the rotator it comes with is much too small for goose eggs so I had to 3D print one but it worked well! I’d also recommend getting an insert to make it a bit taller if physically hatching ducks or geese in this incubator so they can stand up as it can be a bit short for geese specifically. It can be a bit tricky to get the exact moisture levels you want but I found that if it was too high adding a small cup of rice helped absorb some of that excess moisture. This was one of our own ducklings from our backyard flock we hatched! She hatched about 15 hours after external pip and was super healthy with no issues. We haven’t had any issues with any of our chicks hatched in this incubator. I’d definitely recommend! ... show more

  • Works great just hatch 7 chicks easily!
Works great! We just got our first 7 chicks hatch from it. However, we do need to buy the extention for it to make it a little taller for the chicks so they have a little bit of room after they hatch. It needs to be taller so the chicks sent hitting their heads on the top of it.

  • Worth the money! Buy it! Worth the money! Buy it!
First time incubating eggs. I used eggs from my own chickens, and had 14 out of 17 eggs successfully hatch. The three eggs that didn’t hatch had just stopped developing, so I don’t think that had anything to do with the incubator itself. The temperature stayed consistent throughout the incubation. I left it at the factory setting of 99.5 degrees. I had no problem maintaining the humidity, but I did see reviews saying they had a hard time with that, but I live in the south, which is already a very humid climate. Some people mentioned that they had to refill the water reservoir often, but that was not my experience, probably because of our natural humidity. I suspect the complaints about humidity control may have something to do with dryer climates. This incubator was very simple to use and does all the work for you, as well as a great hatch rate. My only complaint would be that taking the top on and off would be easier if it had handles. I would highly recommend this incubator. ... show more
