This thing is amazing. Set up is a little tedious. But it works perfectly. We have a three cat house and only have to change it once a week.. it’s a little difficult to clean, but only have to clean it usually about once a month. All in all 10 out of 10.

We were dealing with my elder cat who has kidney disease and urinates all day long. Regular litter box was getting too much to keep up with while working all day long. My cat started urinating outside his box regularly while we were away and it almost led us to putting him down. I decided that an inconvienence wasnt a good reason to let old man go so i searched for an automatic litter box that was affordable. I decided on this model due to its price and that it was not a very high entrance for my cat to get into. It literally saved his life in the long run. What I love: 1: It can either do a single or double clean after every single time he uses it. so NO MORE SCOOPING 2: With the app it tracks his weight and frequency of use which is nice info for his vet 3: It comes with convienent and plentiful trash bags to place in the dump container 4: It is VERY QUIET 5: Putting it together was an ease due to the absolutely AMAZING instrucrtions included with packaging 6: The litter mat included is solid and does a great job catching litter Why this box does not get 5 stars: 1: The dump tray could be a bit larger (If you have a cat that only uses it 3-4 times a day trust me you'll be fine) 2: I wish the dump tray could be incorporated into the base some how but this models design just doesn't allow for that. 3: (really NOT that big of an issue) Make the stickers that come labeling the seperate pieces easier to remove haha OVERALL: Great product that probably bought my man the latter years of his life with a little easier bathroom for him and us. Changes the game of litter boxes for an affordable price. Would recommend this model for a first time money saving buyer thats fed up with scooping pee and poop on a daily basis. HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you have a cat with Kidney problems or diabetes to try and stay on top of the urine and stop your cat from finding laundry and anything else it can pee on around your house. HOPE THIS HELPS!!!!

I wanted to wait a bit before writing a review and I think we are almost at a month. I have an expensive Litter Robot but with three cats (one special needs). I needed another for downstairs she has a tough time with stairs and had started peeing and leaving “presents” on my door rugs. Can’t afford another robot and was looking all over. Saw this one and even though there weren’t many reviews, they were all positive. First off, it was very easy to put together. Took longer to get the bo open and read the directions LOL. It seems well made as well. Put the litter bag in, some fresh litter inside and a camera to see what was going on when I’m at work. She went right too it and no more surprises! They do say that this is meant for smaller sized cats and I would agree with that. My girl is about 10 pounds. It is very, very quiet as advertised. Really easy to remove the litter bag when full and to be honest, it’s much easier to clean than my robot. I was also concerned about safety, especially with a tripod. Our younger cat made a lovely jump into it as it was doing a cleaning cycle and it immediately stopped. I don’t really think there is a way where a cat could be injured. All in all, I am very pleased with my purchase and hope this company continues making a quality product. Not everyone can afford $800.

I recieved and assembled mine 07/15. Assembly was easy. I'm not really great at following schematics, but this product comes with step by step pictures of the actual product - not drawings/prints - and combined with the video tutorial it was pretty straightforward. I think it is important to note that you need to tighten ALL the screws all the way. The instructions do specify a specific part that absolutely needs to be tightened completely, but I took extra time to make sure they all did because it's obvious there's potential for leakage if all seems are not fully drawn together. Took about 45m start to finish, both Assembly and getting the app set up. Per the app data the cats (one 6lb and one 8.5lb) have used it 12 times. It looks like it's been untouched and contains smell well - I changed the waste bin the first time 7/17. It was only a quarter full. So for smaller cats could probably go a few days. The rotation for cleaning is very slow and doesn't seem to take much at all to stop, so it doesn't appear to pose much hazard to cats - it can be set so it won't run if there's more than 2lbs of weight. So while I would not recommend for small kittens, it seems safe for adults. The bin itself is entirely separate from the rotating mechanism. But if concerned for pet safety it can be set for manual clean only. Update: Woke up to an odd thumping and found the cat riding the box during a clean cycle like some kind of roller coaster then watched as she climbed inside it like a hamster wheel so I can confidently say it's pretty safe.

This works way better than expected! About 2 months ago I got two 8-month-old female sisters, and their pee and poo 💩 smells horrific. 🤢 In the app, I can set it to go into a one or two cycle cleaning mode every time it senses that there was a cat in it after they get out. This is a game changing. Assembly was mostly easy, and the instructions were very clear. There's even a QR code to a video that they recommend watching before beginning. Getting the two halves of the box was a little challenging, but nothing crazy. Once it was together, it was very sturdy. Connecting it to the app was really easy too. And it is so quiet! You can hear the litter shuffling around more than you can hear the motor. All I have to do is empty the bin every couple of days, and there was one time where there was so much pee right on the edge that it didn't release during the cycle and I had to give it a nudge. Honestly, it probably would have loosened up after one or two more uses, but I'm too OCD to let it sit there and wait that long. 😁 I haven't had to clean it yet, but looking at the video, it looks really easy to clean. I had been looking at all kinds of different automatic litter boxes recently, and the outstanding price that I got this for on Prime Days made me go ahead and do it, and I'm glad I did! Mid-November, still loving it! Zero issues.

I was very excited to finally find an affordable self cleaning box. Unfortunately, this product makes more of a mess than just cleaning out a litter box. Litter leaks onto the floor underneath the bottom and when you remove the trash bag to dispose of the waste, it makes a mess. However, it does cycle the waste nicely. Overall, I will most likely look for another brand for my next purchase.

It works, and does well for the price. Had two other auto litter boxes, over twice the cost of this, that rotated sideways. Did a great job. But, first one the motor went out in 11 months, and the 2nd updated one had bad firmware that wasn't fixed. So kept getting stuck upside down. That's why I bought this litter box. This one sits lower with a larger opening to get in, which the cat likes. Plus it just works all the time, it's consistent. Don't have to reset if power goes out, it works. If you take the top litter drum off the base to clean, and set it back on, it adjusts itself back to normal. It works. Don't need the App, which I wasn't planning to use, but, you can adjust the default settings, which for me was important. I use clumping litter, which I'm sure most do, but find it takes a few minutes for the cat urine to make a firm enough clump to dump. This litter box default was only about 30 seconds before it turned. Not good, but, in the App, easy to use, you can adjust the couple defaults. I moved it to the max, 120 seconds (2 min). Not enough, but it takes another minute after to empty anyway, so it worked. So two things would be nice to update on the unit. Extra delay time before cleaning as mentioned, perhaps 5 min. The 2nd item would be litter filter grate that hangs down and swings to separate the litter from the clumps. The first issue with it is that the slots in it are too large, so fragments of the clump can go through. I saw review on here where the User attached a smaller grate to it, which I may do as well. Second issue, there is a Max fill line where the litter goes, which is good. But, that's only if after it cleans, that the litter goes back exactly even again. Close, but always a little higher in the back then the front, but close. What that does is not allow the grate to fully move all the way toward the back, creating a little less space for the cat. That means litter in front and behind that grate. So if the cat urinated on the grate, which they do, it falls on the litter behind the grate and clumps up there. That also means that the litter clump back there might not get cleaned out every time. Will I keep this unit and recommend it? Yes. It always works, but needs a couple tweaks. Plus setting the cleaning delay longer prevents cleaning up any non-clumped messes later. May also put the plastic grate "stop" location a little closer so the grate doesn't swing out so far. That will provide more room for the cat inside, and keep the grate from stopping early due to litter touching bottom of it. So the unit is working, but a couple minor tweaks to be better. And yes, the litter disposal container is smaller, but not finding issues with it adding the delay. Remember, this unit was advertised for small to medium sizes cats, not large. Need to buy a bigger unit for larger cats.
