  • Excellent budget exercise bike
Color: Grey
Pros: -VERY easy to assemble -Surprisingly sturdy for its price -Quiet (doesn't make ANY noise at all, other than the display beeping when it turns on) -Relatively lightweight and easy to store; not an eyesore if you store in the corner of a room CONS: -Display is extremely inaccurate in terms of calories burned and distance traveled. -Doesn't offer much in terms of top-end resistance (STILL A GREAT WORKOUT THOUGH) -Seat is a bit low for those 6ft and taller. WHO THIS IS GREAT FOR: -Fitness conscious people on a budget -Those who need to worry about noise when exercising -Those who don't care to do standing sprints -Beginners looking to get into shape or intermediate-level fitness enthusiasts who are looking for something to do steady state cardio at home. -Those who have minimal space to work with WHO WHO SHOULD STAY AWAY: -Anyone taller than 6'2". I'm 6ft and it's a bit cramped, but manageable. I can't imagine anyone taller being able to enjoy this. -Those whose main concern is comfort. The comfort level is average to below average for an exercise bike. Investing in a nice seat would mitigate this though. -Those who are experienced cyclists who wish to do HIIT and standing sprints. The resistance doesn't go high enough for this. -If you care about accuracy in terms of distance traveled or calories burned. This is an excellent piece of equipment to buy when you're on a budget. This bike exceeded my expectations in terms of the quality of the frame and how easy it is to transport and store. I bought this bicycle as a means of getting my cardio in while I'm home with my daughter. It's great to be able to get my workout in while she's napping and not have to worry about this thing waking her up; it doesn't make ANY noise whatsoever! I think the only downsides to this bike is how inaccurate the display is when measuring calories burned and distance traveled. While most machines are...this one told me I burned 500+ calories and 6 miles in 8 or so minutes of intervals (I wish it was true!). Also, the resistance doesn't go high enough to allow for standing sprints, which was a bummer but didn't leave me without a great workout in the end. Overall, this is a great bike and I would recommend anyone on a budget to buy this. ... show more

  • Fantastic! So glad I bought this!
Color: Black
I’ve had this stationary bike for a month now, and I love it so much I am not using it as a clothes hanger! I ride daily… and use the resistance bands and my own weights (.5, 2lbs, and 3lbs) as I ride. I did purchase the one with the back, and the extra handles beside the seat – and I am glad I did. It also comes with resistance hand pulls, with I find invaluable. Now, to be clear, this is NOT a Recumbent bike. Says it is, but it’s not. It is, however, a great folding stationary bike. The back rest and seat location are not correct for a recumbent, and you’ll need to pay more for one, or find something used. This is an upright bike, and a great one at that! A lot of debate on whether or not the time/speed/distance/calories are accurate. I can tell you what it IS, though… it IS consistent, and isn’t that the important thing? I mean, I have a basic idea that I ride about 5 miles in 25 minutes. Some days it takes me a minute or two longer, some days I get it done a minute or two faster… according to the bike, and my own mental tracking of how fast or slow I’m peddling, and that is accurate. So when I increase my time to an hour, I can be assured that I’m hitting the 10+ mile mark so long as I’m not peddling leisurely. Same with time, it does keep very close time. And MPH… I think even there, it’s reasonably close, but again, just gauge your time and your limits by how much you increase or decrease from the previous day. I only adjusted the tension once, but will make it a bit harder in a few more months. As far as calories burned, no bike can tell me that, because I do use the resistance bands, I do use weights, I do stand up and pedal every so often… distance and speed cannot count that extra physicality and exertion. I’m a lean diabetic and exercise is important, no, vital, to my health. This bike fits all my cardio needs plus allows me to work on my arms (I’m a ‘mature’ woman and arms on us always could use help), and I love that it folds away somewhat compactly. It is rather a pain to fold and unfold as you must alter the seat position, but still, it fits in my spare closet. It does not roll so easily on carpet as hard flooring, but it is doable. The resistance bands… not adjustable in resistance, but no need to be, just go slower, or more repetitions if needed. But they are on pivoting pulleys, so you can pull back, out to the side, straight up! I also wear ankle weights on my wrists sometimes, but the resistance bands are strong! It does have a nice slot to place a phone or tablet, which is great for listening to music or watching scenic biking videos. The seat was creating some issues for me (I’m not terribly padded), and I bought the Anzome bike cushion because (prob the seller) mentioned it here, but it also had the correct measurements, and have no more issues now – it’s as comfy as an exercise device can get! I love the fact that I can do 5 miles in the morning, hop off (drag my dead legs off), and come back to it in the evening for another 5, slip my feet into the pedals, and it lights up, and I can scroll through the options until I get to the one I prefer – and there are my morning readings, saved. And the next day I just hit reset to start over. My spouse, at 6 ft and 250 (I’m 5”5’) and he had no issues riding it. If you’ve never ridden a stationary bike, you do sit up a bit high, but at 64 I’ve not had problems climbing on… now, with dead-tired legs, I do take my time climbing off! I also love that the front handle bars have 3 areas to hold onto – gives me a bit of variety. And occasionally I want to lean back against the back rest, and hold on to the side handles there. All in all, I’ve found this bike to be surprisingly useful, an enjoyable way to keep fit and work on my cardio, and all at a great price! I should warn you, it comes unassembled, and it took me a couple hours to put it together. ... show more

Product as advertised. Popular mechanics review called it solid and quiet, and that is what you get. Assembly is straight forward and will take 30 -45 minutes. Fitment of part is good and directions clear. The ride is comfortable, but users over @ 6' 1" may find the seat a little low. Resistant adjustments may not be challenging enough for some users, but the big plus for me is the roll out and fold away design. I am 77 years old and not training for a marathon, just keeping in shape. Display monitor is basic and functional. Given the price this is an excellent product. ... show more
