A great protection plan. My appliance was out of manufacturers warranty, but was covered by ASURION. Very easy process handled online. They sent me a shipping label, I dropped defective item at UPS and within a day or two received a credit. I recommend and will use again.

They are great at replacing the value of the product even 2 years out. However that may mean your product has devalued in 2 years so you may not get the full price of the proc=duct but 75% is better than nothing.

Without this Asurion protection, I would be without an ice maker and $90. Especially when the unit dies in a year and two months, just after the manufacturer's warranty expires. Cudos to Asurion for a quick and easy claim process.

It was easy, quick and only took 1 call! Other than being upset my espresso machine broke, getting the insurance part taken care of was not as bad as some insurance claims processes I have had to deal with.

Purchased this plan along with the Mueller U-700 K cup coffee maker in March 2021. The plan was very affordable, easy to add to our order, and gave us some peace of mind that should anything go wrong - we could purchase another Mueller U-700 K cup coffee maker. At the very least, get another K cup coffee maker ASAP on Amazon. The U-700 worked until two weeks ago when I had to submit a claim using Asurion. The claims process took just a minute or so, it very easy and quick. Asurion texted me a link to print out the UPS label and provided links to locate a nearby UPS store. The morning I returned the old coffee maker through UPS, Asurion texted and emailed me that they had provided my insurance money to my Amazon account as a gift card. Asurion stated there were other ways to receive the money - but failed to provide a link. While the money was mine, they attached limitations on how it could be used and how I would receive it - which I did not like. Would suggest that Asurion improve the payment portion of their almost perfect system by giving the customer MULTIPLE ways of receiving the funds from the insurance, including direct deposit through PayPal or Apple Pay, a check in the mail, or a credit on Amazon with zero strings attached. This was the reason I could only give them four stars. This issue will not stop us from using Asurion for future needs. It's a very good extended warranty insurance that just needs a bit of tweaking on the payment side.

I purchased an expensive air fryer 4.5 years ago and got the Asurion policy that was offered, too. I loved that air fryer and have used it just about every day, since my oven is older and not dependable. A couple of weeks ago, I noticed that the hot air continued to circulate when I opened the basket drawer to check on browning. Seemed dangerous, so I pulled up my Amazon order history as a first step in getting advice on a repair. I had actually forgotten about having the Asurion policy but saw a link to it. I reported the issue by filing a claim and got an immediate response from Assurion. I was instructed to box up the air fryer and use the shipping label they provided to ship the appliance to them for inspection. I followed the instructions and dropped the box off at UPS. About a week later, I received an email from Asurion. They had issued an Amazon gift card to my account for the full purchase price of the air fryer! Wow! That's great service!
