Since this is not an actual product to hold in your hands it does give peace of mind for the product it was purchased for. Although I have business insurance that covers loss of my camera lens due to accidental drop damage or theft it would involve going through the process of making a claim etc etc. Asurion is that added layer of protection for a little extra money at the time of your camera lens purchase.

Protection plan arrived quickly after purchase. Bought it to go with a camera gifted to our son. Hoping to not have to use it, but considering where he goes to take photos, the odds are leaning towards having to use it. We will update this review when we do.

Never recieved confirmation email. When I tried to make a claim they asked for information that THEY never gave me. Never had ability to talk with rep….do not buy this!

I purchased a camera for a Christmas gift and added the 2 Year Accident Plan with Tech Support for peace of mind. Fortunately I haven't needed to use the plan. I wanted to ensure the purchase was protected in the event of a mishap.

Bad was limited technical support from Asurion for my camera--although better than Amazon's--& significant delay moving forward with repair due to problem identifying my product as "refurbished." Good was Asurions's agent--Royal Camera Repair--who couldn't have been better or more professional.
