We've tryed several hom fryers this we like best but not satisfied yet THIS IS THE SAFEST ONE because you can actually turn it off without moving it and/or reaching over the top of it to unplug it and a light goes off so you know its off . I cant beleive they/almost every other brand, are building these without an on/off switch one of the most dangerous cooking appliances out there!!! For u in living color fans out there ill fire marshall Bill it out for you "say you're a short person and have to use a step stool or chair to reach the back of the fryer to unplug it and just fryed up somthing and the stool slips on you there you go tipping over the fryer spilling 350° grease all over u !!! Unbelieveable this thing really doesnt work good but try finding a decent priced one with an on off switch with on off temp ready to fry indicator lights on it good luck !
