This is definitely heavy duty. The chain a little shorter than I thought because I was trying to get this to use on 2 scooters. It’s long enough to chain them together but probably not long enough to wrap around a thick pole and both scooters. It has some weight so I would recommend getting the bag with it. The bag is good quality and has the water resistant zippers.

I bought this for my scooter because scooters are so easy to just get on and roll away with. What I love about his lock is that it looks and the weight feels very substantial. I think it would have the effect of deterring a casual thief which is pretty much the level of security I'm looking for. The large handcuff size means it should go around most scooter necks without too much trouble. Obviously if a thief happens to have the right allen key to remove the handlebar and then cut the wires, yes they can get your scooter. However, this isn't about absolutely unbreakable security. It's about making it a lot harder than just "get on and scoot away". A caution, be careful if you try to attach this to your scooter for storage while riding. I have noticed that the lock can spin around or get in the way of the front wheel or break lines.

Five star review. Excellent build quality in the chain and loops, it's multi layered and heavy duty even for outdoor use. The loop size will pretty much fit any bicycle or scooter and can have other uses too for equipment. It comes with a cheaper drawstring bag for storage and two keys which are cheap plastic heads and standard metal. Often drop the keys because of the plastic but no biggy. The locks are a good way of practicing to lock your equipment manually before you leave it there and unlocking it manually after as well. The chain lock will protect your equipment and should be used more often especially in cities.

Bag started tearing on all strap locations on all 3 bags we bought, and zipper failed on 1 of them right after return window closed. Thier customer support was very sub par. They offered $15 as a credit which was insulting to say the least. Ended up having to go through Amazon mediation which reopened the return window for us. As far as the locks go they are great and heavy duty. The bags are the brands kryptonite, while they look good and have a durable shell, they fall apart under the weight of the locks themselves, which are actually really heavy
