This is a VERY large pot!! The handles are sturdy (rivets and spot welds) The metal the pot is made of is fairly thin. If you are not careful, the bottom could be prone to warpage. Lid fits nice and tight. the inner basket could have been slightly larger to match the size of the pot but is built with a sturdy handle! The finish is "brushed" stainless steel.
