I ordered a second one of these to have it as a spare. This is really great of those who use acrylic tubing as it allows you to shorten tubes very easily and also to round the edges to lessen the chances of having the tube cut the oring seals in the fittings. I really like this item which is why I bought a second one to keep around just in case my first one goes bad. I've used my primary one numerous times already. This makes cutting and bending your own acrylic tubing somewhat bearable. I didn’t think it could offer much of an advantage over my manual tools and sandpaper - I was very wrong. If you are building a loop and cutting your own acrylic tubing (likely other plastics as well, though I haven’t tried) then this is a must have. It’s like going from manually driving screws to using an electric driver. I only wish it was a little cheaper. Still worth it. Get it. ... show more

Let me start of by saying this was my first hardline water cooling build. Initially I bought the Thermaltake Pacific DIY OD 16mm Tube Bending Kit thinking it would have everything I needed. For a first time builder I consistently cracked my acrylic tubes when using the pipe cutter from the kit. I then started googling better ways, found most people use a bow saw or a hack saw, long story short I used a dremel since I had one. The bur tool they had, while good was hard for me to keep level/flat so my smoothing was often awkward. Thus again more googling! I can't remember how, but I came across a video of a guy using this tool and thought, sweet! Let's give that a try. Sure enough, it worked WONDERS! Not only was I able to smooth out the ends of my cuts with ease, it also had the power to drill down the size of my tube if I was a little bit off. For me that was a HUGE time saver. I haven't yet finished my build as I'm still waiting on some parts (newbie me) but here is a photo of what my rig looks like so far. ... show more

this thing is amazing. Chuck it up in a drill and what this make perfect chamfers for your tube ends. In most cases, you'll have a hand-held cutter with razor blades inside. After 2-3 pipe cuts and you'll notice the ends will start to get rough for the outside diameter of the tube making it necessary to sand them to smooth them out. This takes all of that away and gives you perfect inside/outside finishes. After a dozen or so tubes, this still cuts perfectly. Great tool ... show more
