This pump is good at circulating water in your pool and has the added feature of doing it at a slower speed then the pool is not in use saving money on power. The on downside is the Heyward pool cleaner I use does not work very well as the suction on this pump and GPH rate are on the low side for my needs. It does clean the pool is just does not clean it as well has my Heyword pool pump did. The other nice thing about this pump is that it is super quiet in the low speed mode.

We replaced our old pump with this one last spring. We have had 1 whole season using it and it has done a great job this summer. Our pool has stayed clear, it is quiet and we saved on our electric bill $100-$200 per month! I will say that we are unable to use the lowest setting as it does not dispense the chlorine on low so that was a bummer. If we had been able to use the lower setting we would have saved even more $$. We installed it ourselves but my husband is pretty handy. There were a couple of fittings we had to switch out but all in all it went in nicely. I’m hoping it gives us a few years of service.

I’ve had this pump running for about 3 weeks now and no issues. I’ve read other reviews and this was so easy to hook up. We lost our other pump in a flood. It was the second in less than a year. We lost the last one during hurricane Ian. I refused to pay another $2k+. I turned on the timer for 10 hours and everyday like clockwork the pump comes on for 10 hours without me having to turn it on. It runs my fountains the same as the $2K pump. Only thing is if you turn it off the clean the basket it resets the timer. All in all I highly recommend this pump for those tired of paying for over priced pumps.

So far so good. Super quiet pump. Very powerful. Its Nice to have 2 speeds finally. Our old pool pump finally started going out after 8 years (bearing noise,running HOT...gonna rebuild it for a spare) this pump does seem pretty well built. It's made in China so I have my doubts on longevity. Sure beats paying $700-$800 for a new OEM Hayward unit. I used PVC pipes with right angles along with standard rubber pool Tubing. Worked out very well with no leaking! I Bought the extended 3 year warranty on this pump for $30 so the Grand total was well under $300. Time will tell if this thing lasts or not

Used this all summer so far without any problems. Two speed pump when set to low still turns on my pool heater (some dual speed pumps are too slow on low speed). Only one reason I didn't give it 5 star, when it turns off there's usually back pressure that pushes up the strainer (and anything in it). I normally go empty the strainer before it turns off so it's not a big deal but not ideal. My trusty old Hayward pool pump did not do this Hayward wants an arm and a leg for dual speed pump... in the end I'm happy with the compromise for the price.

The pump itself seems to be great. Quite and powerful. I am not please with there not being an on/off or low/high switch. The install was a complete nightmare! If my local pool store sold a 2hp I wouldn’t just paid the extra money and sent this terrible thing back. This took so long to rig something together and so many trips to the hardware store. It’s bigger than our last 2hp pump so we had to get another stone to make space for it to sit also. It’s currently going and moving well though. 😒😒

The pump works well on high speed but the low speed is super low - hardly able to move much water. I know everyone's setup can be different with suction and flow rates, but I wish the low speed was about half the power/speed of the high speed. Just estimating, it feels like it is about 1/4 of the suction. Overall the pump is good and was fairly easy to install. the union couplings that come with it worked well. if I had the option to easily go to 220 i would have went with a different pump. Went with this one exclusively for it's 2HP rating, 110 power, and 2 speed options (although really only 1 that works for me).
