This is my 2nd Essentials Hot Tub (but a different model from my last). The last one lasted 6 years and only wore out because of storm damage. This Hot Tub is amazing. I use the standard 110 and it was ready for use in less than 24 hours (starting water temp of 48 degrees and outside temps of 33-50). Delivery was exceptional. The service Amazon used placed the tub in my back yard exactly where I wanted it. This tub is larger than my last. Room for 4 very easily and could do 6 or 7 in a squeeze. Jets are strong and temperature lost only 2 degrees over 2 hours in 55 degree air temp. Cover that is included is good quality with a tapered 3 inch center peak. We are heading into spring, so I will keep this cover for now (I usually get a 4 or 5 inch peak cover, but that is because most portable tubs come with a worthless flat cover. This one is actually pretty good). I’ve had good luck with Essential Spas. Will update this review down the road. ... show more

We've had our Shoreline Lounger 24 jet hot tub now for a month. We use it nearly every day and really love it. If I could, I'd give it a 4.5 - but I gave it 4 out of 5 for only a couple of reasons: 1) the acrylic shell is really scratchy. My daughter and I have to wear shorts otherwise it scraps the backs of our legs. Still scrapes against our back. 2) on 110v it takes a long time to heat up and loses quite a bit of heat while we're in it. If I bring it up to 102 and we're in it for an hour, it's down to 99 or 98 by the time we get out. Having the top open and the jets going really cools it down. But, that's to be expected. We're planning to switch to 240v soon. 3) the manual isn't as comprehensive as I'd like or need for a first time hot tub owner. 4) the access panel is held on by 6 long screws and isn't easy to get into. Conversely, this means it's also very secure. I'd give it a 5 star for these reasons: 1) the support has been great - responsive and helpful every time I've reached out to them. 2) the ease of shipping and set up was great - really couldn't have been much easier (except for the access panel issue from above.) 3) perfect size for us - small enough to put anywhere, to fill and heat. Large enough for 3-4 people comfortably. 4) jets are nice, if we were to get another one, we'd probably get more jets - but they are definitely adequate. I would agree with all the comments about the difficulty in learning the maintenance. It's a pretty steep learning curve. However, a month in, and I feel like I'm finally figuring out the rhythm of it all with the cleaning and chemicals and such. I would also agree with the comments about how much the electricity, water and chemicals cost each month. My guess is we'll add between $100-150 per month onto our bills. Still, we believe it's worth it. I keep the temp down to about 95 degrees overnight, and then go out about 2pm, check the chemicals, and turn up the heat to 103 degrees - which means it's about ready for us at 7-8pm. There may be a better way to do it, but we've found this to work so far. If you want to get in the tub at different times each day, it's a little more difficult. You would probably have to leave the temp up to 100 all the time so you'd only have to wait a little bit before getting it to bring it up to full temp. That's just too expensive for us. So, we plan to get in after dinner each night, rather than during the day. Overall, we're really pleased. Again, I'd give it a 4.5 if I could. I have a severe sensitivity to mold and environmental toxins, this is an easy and lovely way to help detox each day from those. It's also so relaxing. I know I'm sleeping better too. ... show more

It was nice while it worked, then one day out of the blue it started losing water and after taking the service panel off I found it spraying water from the pump. I haven't even had it filled and running for a full month. The plumbing under the tub looks like an unorganized mess from the get go, somebody went wild down there with the spray foam. *Edit* After getting that leak fixed it has immediately sprung another leak somewhere else that I haven't tracked down yet. ... show more

First and foremost the hot tub is ok took off all four sides to try and find the electrical to find is was on the first side I took off just hidden behind insulation which was not stated in the manual also found plastic shavings left on the inside of the tub. Besides all that the hot tub is working Great. Now to the delivery debacle I ordered this spa the end of February and received a tracking number from XPO next day over about a week we watch the spa come from Pennsylvania to Tennessee and soon to a City two hours away from us. All without any issues then XPO attended to deliver to a strangers house not listed on our order thankfully the stranger didn’t accept a free hot tub. XPO never called or emailed us of any issues only through the Amazon app where notified of delivery attempts. That night XPO canceled the order and we frantically tried calling XPO chatting with Amazon but to no avail XPO was not taking any of my calls and there automated voicemail was glitching out, not allowing me to select anything. We just left it up to chance if we were even going to be getting this hot tub. Luckily RXO got are hot tub and keep us informed and delivered it to us yesterday. If I could leave a stare rating for XPO I would be zero. Hoping Amazon will fix this issue. ... show more
