I bought these to put charcoal in and then stash them in my dresser drawers. The humidity is high in the summers where I live, inside and outside of my place. I’m hoping this eliminates some musty odors from inside the dresser. These bags weren’t too flimsy and the zipper was smooth. I didn’t see any charcoal powder coming out through the mesh, so that’s a good purchase!

These are inexpensive and good quality so far. I bought these to put in each of my outdoor fountains and birdbaths with mosquito "dunks" inside them. Haven't seen any mosquito larvae since then. Since you can see through the mesh I always know when to replace the dunks but really these are cheap enough to even be used as disposable. Also, the mesh is small enough to keep the dunk granules from clogging the filters in the fountains.

Much better than expected. No drawstring which is a real plus. The plastic zippers work smoothly. I use 20 mesh zeolite in them as well as bamboo activated carbon. No particles came through. Not sure if tiny media such as GFO would work or not.

Great for rocks like carbon or zeolite and easy to wash and reuse. Toss 4 on each side of a 2 sided emperor carbon filter. You will need to use at front of filter as the back will interfere with biological media that I have added myself!

No problem with quality but the bags are only 2.25 to 2.5 inches wide not the 3 inches described. Opening at the zipper is 2 inches wide.
