I bought this and the 3 ft length from same mfr for different spots, both for use with my rain barrels. They only have to handle a low pressure system, gravity drainage and hydraulic pressure limited by a stopcock. It’s not a difficult job. This 5 ft hose handles it just fine, lets me fill my watering can and buckets more easily than going straight to the hose bib. It attaches well to the threads of the bib, has a decent washer ring inside, and flows nicely. No leak. For some reason, the 3 ft ones I ordered all leak miserably from the connection site (female end), but the 5 ft one did not, so I returned the 3 fts and bought another 5 ft. So far that’s also serving me well. Good hose, reasonably well priced compared to others, but I didn’t test it on a high pressure system like municipal water supply… ... show more

    • Works great for my sprinkler system
I'm currently using this Aqua Joe 5ft hose for my sprinkler system. My water spigot is too close to the ground for me to hook up a timer. Plus the timer has to be straight up and down to avoid damage. To solve this I used a 90° hose elbow, then connected the 5ft Aqua Joe hose. I draped the 5ft hose over my hose hanger, added the sprinkler timer, then the splitters. I'm very happy with the quality. This hose is super flexible, and I've had no leaks. So far so good. I like the rubber neck feature that makes it extra easy to contain any small leaks from not connecting exactly perfectly to the hose bib or reel. The quality seems very durable.

    • Great for faucets low to the ground
This hose is great for whenever you're faucet is hard to get to you can connect it onto the faucet and then put a splitter on the only thing that I don't know about this hose is will it last through the winter I think you have to take it off and bring it inside because it has a 30° temperature warning. So I'm thinking that if it gets below 30°, it may damage the hose. But it's great for putting a splitter so that you can reach the splitter to turn the hoses off and on instead of having to bend over and down and under two get to the faucet itself. ... show more
