This tankless water heater is a game changer ! Super easy to install. Tested the water heater had no issues and was quick to heat up. Nice sleek control panel. Directions were easy to follow.. also watched a few YouTube videos to get a better understanding of the install. I have a 2007 Thor Jazz and this water heater just slid right in to the existing slot. I think it was harder to take out the old 6 gallon . Had to change out the water supply PEX fitting which was super easy and very clean. This unit is also a lot lighter than the old one. Absolutely recommend this tankless water heater especially for older RVs. This fits into a 15”x15” super clean look.

Pretty simple install with a few plumbing changes (to be expected) coming from a tank heater. My RV wiring caused me some problems initially. Customer service was responsive and helpful. In my case, I had to run a dedicated 12v line to this heater as the existing one was a shared circuit which for some reason the new heater didn’t like. Works great so far, heats up pretty quickly to conserve water.

Everything went together pretty quickly. The package came damaged, and the outside door was pretty tweaked, luckily for these guys I opted to bend it back straight, you can barely notice now 🤷♂️ One other small gripe is that the output port will not accept a typical swivel connection will not create a seal on account of the internal diameter of the output is not large enough for the nipple to fit, instead it only jams and the rubber bushing won’t contact. I ended up using a standard fitting for that side, after yet another run to the depot. So far I’ve only taken 2 showers and used the sink half a dozen times. It does seam to work very well. The water gets hot very quickly and I typically only need to let the water run about 10 seconds til it gets hot. I will update this if things change but for now, I think I’m pretty happy with this set up. I give it a two out of 10 in terms of difficulty installing, but I am a 20 year technician in virtually all of the trades so maybe for the average person it would be five or six out of 10?

*UPDATE* ***According to the customer service representative, these units ARE NOT COMPATIBLE for RV service and it is dangerous for use in an RV. This was the response I received from Ann, customer service representative after she offered to send me a replacement unit. I let her know I would be willing to try the replacement unit but I would not guarantee a change to my review, unless the new unit changed my opinion. She then informed me that her “technicians” said the unit was not compatible with my RV (identical set up to every other RV on the market) and potentially dangerous so she withdrew her offer to replace the defunct unit. *** I purchased this APUS RV tankless water heater to replace another on-demand unit in my RV, but unfortunately the heater never worked. I spent several hours troubleshooting and verifying the installation. I checked the voltage and all the wiring connections multiple times and confirmed everything was correct. It was also very difficult to get in touch with customer service. When I finally did hear back from the manufacturer, they suggested the issue was with my wiring. To be certain, I had both an electrician and an RV technician verify the connections, and both confirmed that everything was installed correctly. After several days of back and forth, the seller eventually refunded the cost of the unit, but the entire process was very frustrating and time-consuming. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not recommend this product.

I was replacing my old hot water heater with a pilot light because it had just reached its end of time and stumbled upon this one and went and ordered it.. it fit in the original hole after I remove the other one I did run a new gas line because after a conversation with the manufacturer, they recommended using a half inch gas supply line instead of a 3/8.. not a big deal simple to replace the gas line simple to install the unit and I gotta tell you this was the best thing I ever did for my camper. I love this product and I would highly recommend it..works excellent!

New unit works great. Fits in the previous opening and easy to install. Customer service was very reachable, helpful, responsive. The unit purchased unfortunately didn't work when installed. There was a problem getting current through the unit and it wouldn't turn on. Customer service very thourgh in problem shooting. After several back and forth interactions with customer service they sent me a new unit.

Man this thing is amazing constant hot water all the time it does take a about 30 seconds to get hot water but I do have a 40 ft camper they only compliant I really have is it was smaller than the original hot water heater which means I had to fill in the Gap around it a little bit. But all in all has great water flow and is very reliable I am about 6 months in.

Easy install. Even for an old man with a shoulder rotator cuff tear. Water heater works great for about two weeks now. I highly recommend so far. It also comes with the framed door, so no extra parts meeded except for the connectors for the plumbing…
