Supported by fully enclosed polypropylene and butyl reservoirs, these storage tanks provide airtight protection against leaks. Their stainless steel connectors ensure leach-free integrity while post-cured diaphragms eliminate the possibility of odors from the tank. Individually pressure-tested for safety, all our tanks are certified and ce approved for materials quality, safety, and durability making them suitable for use anywhere in the world. I bought this to replace the stock tank for my RO system from GE. The old tank was barely putting out two cups of water at a time. However, the stock replacement was going to be around $150, so I was looking for a cheaper option. Since this tank is carried by the same store that I bought the RO system from, and they have it labeled as an "industry standard" in terms of pressure settings, I decided to give it a try. And so far, it works great! Much better pressure, and I get a lot more water out of the system at a time. Notably too, the water tastes better! Maybe because it's not mixing with old, stagnant water that can't be expelled. Super easy to install! Bought a shut off valve fitting to connect the tank to the plastic line of my system, and managed to connect it easily. Be sure to use plumbers tape on the fitting. I also used an O-ring for good measure. So far, no issues with leaking, as other people are reporting in their reviews. ... show more

Our Apec RO system is great and has worked well for us. But as I have read, the tanks don’t last forever. The water out of ourfaucet became very slow and pumping the pressure back up to 7-8 lbs. didn’t work as the pressure leaked out rather quickly. The new tank was inexpensive and works very well. It is just one of the maintenance things that has to be done every now and then. More than worth it for clean water. ... show more

    • Exactly what I ordered.
I received the exact product advertised in New condition and sooner than expected. This tank seems to be working perfectly on my system and has eliminated the previous pressure issue we were experiencing. Overall very easy to implement. Only downside was absolutely no instructions or specs to reference on pressure settings on the tank or an indication if it had been previously set by the manufacturer. ... show more

Looks alot like the 12 year old tank I replaced. I think you are supposed to replace at about five year intervals. Pressure is improved, water tastes cleaner also. Worth every penny.

    • My old tank developed a problem after years of service. Bought this unit as a replacement.
Working great.. Easy to install. Just be sure to allow time for the tank to fill before using. APEC is a great solution for under sink water filtration. Have bought them as gifts for my adult children and have used the RO system in our rent house for years. I am a big fan.

    • Easy replacement of old RO tank
I debated on the tank with shut off valve vs. No shut off. Not knowing the size of the existing valve, I ordered the tank with NO shut off. The new tank worked out perfectly with the old shut off valve!! Easy installation and now I have constant pressure for my filtered water!!
