After considerable research, I ordered a Waterdrop WD-10UB-CM undercounter water filter (for the removal of chloramine) from Amazon. The filter was shipped from Waterdrop which I quickly receive. The installation instructions were through and easy to follow. After installation I had a small drip from the filter cartridge. I called Waterdrop customer service. I explained the issue to Katrina who promptly sent me another filter which resolved the issue. Since I have only used the filter a few times I can’t comment on its efficiency, other than to say it appears to be well made and is working properly. The Waterdrop customer service is exceptional. I would definitely recommend Waterdrop for any of your filter needs.

I have trouble remembering to stay hydrated so I frequently drink water from the bathroom sink when I wake up, use the restroom, or go to bed. However, it wasn't filtered before and I had concerns about water quality dtraight from the tap, even though our city water is fairly decent. This gave me peace of mind and I sinply attached it to the cold water line in the bathroom. Pretty easy to do and the kit included everything you need to install it....except a drill! As you can see by the date I've had it since July 2024. I was surprised it had been that long and it's still running strong. The water tastes great and I have peace of mind that I'm getting good quality water when I drink it in that part od the house.

Let me preface this by saying this is my second time buying this exact filter from this company. I bought one for my first apartment and it outlived my stay there. I moved into a new apartment and purchased it again without hesitation. Water taste? GONE. 100%. The strong chemical taste and smell are completely gone. I live in Fort Worth, Texas, where the municipal water is treated with chloramines and has a higher, alkaline pH (this is publicly reported in the city’s water quality data). If you’re sensitive to taste and smell like I am, you’ll immediately notice the difference. Design and installation: It’s long, slim, and takes up very little space, which is perfect for apartment living. I bought the quick-connect version and installation was quick and straightforward. It does require a few basic tools, but the process is simple and well explained. Important install tip: Keep filter replacement in mind when choosing the install location. You’ll need enough clearance underneath to remove it. Replacement is a twist-and-pull-down motion, so don’t install it too close to the cabinet floor. Planning ahead makes future filter changes easy. (Leave like 2-3 inches open) Practical and environmental bonus: I’ve stopped buying bottled water. A 40-pack at Walmart is around $6 and it goes fast. This filter cost me $129.99, and spread over about 5 years that’s roughly $26 per year, which is far cheaper than constantly buying bottled water. On top of the savings, it significantly reduces plastic waste, which matters to me. (Although I would never let it reach max capacity to be honest) Final thoughts: I genuinely love this filter. It’s effective, compact, easy to replace, and ideal if you live in an apartment and don’t have the option for a whole-house system. (Reverse osmosis still the best thing BUT I CANNOT AFFORD IT) Everyone should have one. My only wish is that I had the same filtration in my shower as well. Highly recommend.

I’ve been using the Waterdrop filter for a few weeks now, and I can already taste the difference. The water is noticeably cleaner, fresher, and has zero chlorine smell. I actually enjoy drinking water straight from the tap now. Installation took just a couple of minutes — it’s super simple and the instructions are clear. I appreciate the slim, space-saving design too — perfect for my small kitchen setup. It filters fast and doesn’t slow down the water flow, which is a huge plus. I crushed the provided adapter so it was unusable during initial install because the Crescent wrench was not tight enough. FYI, using the teflon tape with the provided adapters needs to be completely tightened, which is cumbersome in small areas. i telephoned the company, a rep answered promptly and sent a replacement part with no hesitation or mention of cost (free). i was amazed, the part came and installed (with my new found experience!) perfectly. the company followed up to verify everything was satisfactory, which is unbelievable in this day and age. the filter works as advertised and the Waterdrop people stand behind their products!

The media could not be loaded. Just got it installed, and it seems like a good product! My install took a bit because my setup is dumb, but the instructions are clear, and the kit came with everything you need. Would be a quick install under normal circumstances! The water has good flow and tastes good, so we will see in time! I’d say it’s worth purchasing!
