Instructions were lacking in detail, even with the quick video, but the install wasn’t too bad. My install had to be 11 feet above the patio due to a window height. I wasn’t able to space the supports as shown in the manual since mine were lag screwed into studs, which didn’t fall where on end support had to be so I relocated it 7” toward center from that location. It all worked out well. To make the height adjustment for the lowered awing you need a 17mm socket to loosen two bolts and a 14mm wrench to adjust the bolt that allows the me hanism to move for the desired height. Overall, we’re pleased with the product. It works smoothly with crank and appears to be well-made. Creates a nice atmosphere on our back patio. I was amazed at the detailed help from Meta AI including useful tips for this specific awning and awnings in general. Keys are don’t make fasteners at joints too tight and work in a 109% silicone spray at all moving joints. Put a fresh dab of lithium grease in the front rail track once per season and at the front rail sliding locations. These steps allow the awning arms to fully fold when retracting.

Awning took 14 Hours to put up! Came in defective/ Was put together wrong from the factory!!!!!! The arms were mounted upside down. Had to hire help to figure out what was wrong! NOT Happy! Once it was put together the right way its nice.
