I bought this to clear some brush after a area behind my house was cleared. It was delivered on time and while the box was damaged in shipping everything inside was ok and no parts were lost. I'm really good at putting things together so following the included instructions it took me about an hour by myself. The construction is ok for what it is. All of the parts seem to be fairly well made except for the nuts and bolts. The bolts are really cheap and made of really crappy metal. Do not use power tools when putting this together. The bolts will strip in a heartbeat. Use hand tools only. The problem lies in how these things work...or not. First, the tongue on this things is too short. It needs at least another foot on it to swing right. And forget about backing up with it. Second there are no instructions on the proper way to travel with it, engage it and what the two "settings" are for it. You have to get on and off of the tractor to do any of this which is a real pain in the butt with how fast it gets clogged. Forget using this to rake any more than a few things. You are on and off the tractor every three or four minutes. My unit didn't come with any way to secure the cinder blocks to the top as is pictured but it seemed that just stacking them on top is mostly ok. This thing is a huge waste of time to use. I'd return it but its too late. Good thing it was cheap. I feel all of these are about the same in how they work.

The first thing was the box used for shipping was damaged as usual anymore, the bolt package was gone, the parts were listed in the instructions, so I went and bought them for $10 rather than send it back or wait weeks for parts, also you will need twice the amout of washers they show, it does work actually, its on the flimsy side, so dont be rough with it, its really easy to assemble once you have all the parts, had to put two 4 inch solid cap blocks on it for any kind of results, I had to modify the handel and hitch slots as they dont go down low enough for a Bad Boy mower hitch that is higher, it was a little less of a duty than I would expect for the price, but because I have welding equipment it was easy to make much more durable and sturdy, the lift handel bent first use because of the solid cap blocks for weight they suggest to use, This will work for small lots with light duty and small rider mowers.
