Comments about the Ancheer double cylinder hydraulic rowing machine. The packaging engineer designed an excellent shipping container with no possibility of damage. The assembly instructions are perfect but terse, as each word and letter matters. Rowing motion is exactly like either a rowboat or a rowing shell. Intensity adjustments (hydraulic level and fulcrum point on the rowing arm) are easy to change. Seat rollers needed some tightening to remove slack but still not stick. This device does everything a rowing machine should do. As shown in the picture, the LCD monitor strut was replaced with a common door hinge to make the rower more compact.

I am writing this, because I submitted the issue to them, and also submitted the issue by selecting 'Report an issue with this product and seller', and it's been maybe over 20 days, and surprised to see they still have the wrong dimensions. This is misleading to consumers, especially when consumers are comparing to other options that are available by other sellers. 1. Seat is more like 11x10 not 14x13.8 2. Brand name is different. Sellers Response to Brand Name: 'In fact, "ANCHEER" is the product name used in our store, and " FUNMILY" is the label attached to the product when the supplier produces it. They are of the same brand.' 3. Height at the back end is more like 6 inches, and not 7.46 inches. 4. Length of the slide is a bit misleading because it shows 47.16, but I realize now it’s including the tilt of the LCD display and not just the slide. It's more like 43.5 5. The whole length of unit is more like 33 inches, and yet the picture shows 43.23 from the front of the product, to where the outer leg ends. 6. USPS refused to deliver the item because it's oversized, and I had to pick it up. Not sure if it's USPS's fault, or seller. I know some sellers tell you ahead of time that product can't be shipped to your address. Solution of the seller was to throw money at the problem, without really answering my question on whether or not I got the wrong product. I thought I was being reasonable by just asking for the right seat, and wasn't asking for money. Did not accept money, and gave up, as I realized it may not be the wrong product that I received, but more like incorrect advertisement of the product.

Considering the price point vs a gym quality rowing machine this is fine for beginners or rehab. Personally we found it to be a bit lacking for our needs, and didn’t think the bands provided enough resistance to get a worthwhile workout for our purpose. Personally, I don’t love it,, and we will be getting something heavier duty. That being said for the price point it’s a good product.

Assembly was pretty easy, alot of bolts are pre-installed so it's easy to figure out what goes where. While it does work I ended up moving the rear stop block on the bottom so the seat goes closer to the end for my height at 6' 1". While this does work, I found I still tap that rear block but once I am going I don't really notice it. The resistance doesn't start right away when you push back, I have to go a little past 1/3 leg extension before my arms start to pull on the handle. I noticed if I widened my arms it started resistance sooner and more so resembled rowing a bigger row boat. This also targeted my shoulder blades which is what I am going for. The two points of adjustment (one on the shock, the other on the base of the row arm) give a really wide range of resistance. It can go from mostly everything I have (or I am just that weak) to a nice light pull. This makes the type of workout I am going for easily achieved. For the price, this absolutely works. I would prefer a concept 2 type rower but I am happy with this.

Upon ordering this row machine, it shipped fast and arrived on time. Once it arrived the box was on the heavy side. Once I got everything unpacked it was simple to get it set up and took only about 10 mints or so. The use of the row machine is amazing, its not only comfortable and easy to use but it also is a great workout. The row machine itself does not take up alot of room and I love that I can tuck it under my bed. I do find this row machine to be made of great quality and I would highly recommend.
