Very nice burner for the price

This burner includes everything you need: an angle pipe-to-flare connector, a straight pipe-to-flare connector, flex line with flare connections on both ends, and basic but adequate rock wool. The flex pipe can be connected to either end of the burner. In my use the fireplace will only be used occasionally and I expect that the burner will last years. In a colder climate, or if you burn your fireplace every night during the cold season, I'd go for a heavier-gauge burner. In my review of the Skyflame birch logs you can see the final effect. It looks realistic, especially through glass fireplace doors.

Limits the flow of gas and results in a smaller flame

Somewhere in this product it restricts the output of the gas from our line. I bought other pans exactly like this one and have noticed a much taller, larger flame than this one is able to allow. I opted to return, the quality is great I just prefer a larger more robust fire.
