Impressive paddle
Color: Double Paddle
I would rate myself as an intermediate level player and bought this paddle since I needed to refresh my Butterfly kit that got worn out. The two-pack kit attracted me, and the ratings were decent which prompted me to try this product as quite honestly, I haven't heard about this brand before. It's only been a day since I received but have to admit that I was extremely surprised as to how good this paddle was for intermediate players like me. Besides the speed and the spin, I was impressed with its control due to superior quality and thickness of the rubber I suppose. Comes with a nice carrying case which is helpful. ... show more

Great paddle to improve your game!
Color: Double Paddle
Good quality, good value. The balance was good and the weight of the paddle. The control off the surface was very good. It allowed you to execute additional spin on the ball!

Very good paddles for the money
Color: Double Paddle
Delivery was prompt and on time. The paddles were even better quality than I anticipated. Solid response, good rubber for moderate to high spin and control was steady and sure.

Beginner+ to Intermediate- paddle
Color: Double Paddle
Before writing the review, let me say that I have experience playing table tennis at the state level and I was a rated player once. Obviously I used to play with custom paddles back then. Then life happened and I stopped playing. Recently bought a table at home and was looking to restart the my passion for the game with my son. I bought the paddle based on reviews. I will be objective about the review by keeping my opinion in the three categories these paddles advertise. Speed: There is no way these paddles are 99 rated in speed. 85 at best. To get 99 speed, you need carbon base, which these paddles don't have. Those carbon bases alone costs 300+. You can't expect same speed in paddles at this price point. Spin: 93 spin rating is also overrated. I would say, spin rating is between 80-85. I was a very heavy spin player. I am not able to generate the same spin with this racket that I could with my custom paddles, even after heavy wrist and arm movement. Control: I agree with the 90 rating in control department. To give you an idea, my 11 year old son could control the shots pretty well within the first week, even though he had no experience of playing table tennis before. Even I found it is easy to control the shots with this paddle. I would say, this is a pretty good paddle for beginners+ to Intermediate- level. Not a bad choice if you are using these for having some fun games at home with family. You will need a better paddle once you graduate into intermediate level. For home fun and beginner level, I do recommend these paddles. ... show more

Excellent rackets, excellent price
Color: Double Paddle
I am a good intermediate player. Compared to my Stiga Pro Carbon, the Idoraz feels slightly heavier (not in a bad way though), comparable in power and the rubbers are very grippy. These are an outstanding value at $75 a pair and I’d recommend them to anyone who plays at a decent level and doesn’t want to blow over $100 on a pro-level racket. Yes, there’s a strong smell when you first peel the plastic off the rubbers, but it’s not a big deal and dissipates with time. If you’re overly concerned about aromas, maybe take up gardening. ... show more

Excellent for Beginners to Intermediate
Color: Double Paddle
I have played competitive 30 year ago and just getting back into ping pong. Didn't want to spend over $300 for one paddle so I purchase this as an alternative. I can now have my backup. It's a excellent choice for beginner to intermediate playet to learn more advance shots and technical play that you probably could not do with a beginner's paddle. In about another 6 months, I'll probably get one geared to more advance players...not Olympics by any means, but local tournaments. Since the quality is very good, even after a month of use, I may stick with this company. Good luck all!! ... show more
