As one reviewer mentioned, this does not include an extended arm so I installed it directly onto the existing shower arm coming from the wall. It works fine, but I may eventually buy an extender to create a higher shower head that pours down from the center of the shower. Stating that, the installation was easy, the water flows beautifully, and I really like the way it looks. The head swivels in all directions as well, so it isn't static.
