I really like this garbage can. The size is perfect for the 13 gal garbage bags. I have never had a can that the bag fit perfectly in. So we are able to get the most use of the bag. That does make this can a bit bulky which makes it a tight spot where we have it. But the other features make that just a minor inconvenience.     • Amazon Basics 50 Liter Makes Garage Handling Much Easier - Well Constructed
My family really likes this Amazon Basics 50 Liter. I still have to take the garbage out, but the rest of the family at least gets the normal day to day garbage in the can. I like that it will fill a normal 13 gallon plastic bag with just enough room to allow it to be sealed with the tie built into the plastic bag. It holds the bag top secure so it doesn't fall down into the can. The can has an inner plastic liner that holds the plastic bag securely and makes removal once full easy. The top, if lifted open will remain open while removing or inserting a new bag. The foot pedal opens and allows it to slow close once your foot is removed. Nice a quietly.     • A beautiful trash can built like a tank
Recently I needed to replace an old half round step on trash can. Went to 2 of the big box home improvement stores, viewed 6 different models of step on cans, and every single on they had in stock was broken-100% already not working while still in the store. I did not look at the insanely priced $135 famous brand version, but many were getting close to the price I paid for this one, and they were plastic. This is incredible for the price-heavy, superbly finished and very solidly built. It really is a beautiful trash can. I imagine it will last quite a while with the quality of the materials used. The lift out liner is the full size of the interior-another brand I had was shorter and oddly shaped, which trapped gunk and required extra effort to clean. This is a bit taller than what I was replacing as it's a full 13 gallon size, not 10 or 11 like many others. ... show more

We buy 13 gallon trash bags and they fit awesome in this trashcan. You can actually fill the bag up before removing it. No tears or holes in bags when removing. Our old trash can always ripped the bags when removing and you could only fill a bag about half way before the trash can was full. So, I decided to try to trash can and we are extremely happy with it! You can see finger prints on it if you're looking at it just right but they're definitely not very noticeable. It's definitely not a small trash can but in order for it to actually have the room to fill up a trash bag it has to be a little on the bulky side. We would definitely purchase again! ... show more

Screws on the inner side lid get corroded/rust. The 2 day of owning it, the top of the lid somehow got a small dent on the top. Nice inner black removable trash can inside… makes it easy to clean. The foot pedal… the way it’s designed catches/holds food crumbs… could be designed better. The lid can stay permanently up if you would like it too ( peeling veggies) it’s helpful but you have to play around with it in order to do so.. by lifting lid then acting as if you are going to close it.. but stop halfway down to lift/push it back up. ... show more
