This bar stool is just perfect and provides a nice contemporary upgrade! The gold frame is very solid with a nice finish—nothing cheap looking about it. The seat and the foot rest bar are just the right height. The white bench seat is a beautiful soft texture with a firm but comfortable cushion. And the bench cushion is nice and wide. This stool is solid, doesn’t slide around, doesn’t tilt or wobble. I have no doubt that it will last for a long time. I bought to use in both my kitchen when I have a time-consuming cookie decorating project and also to use in my bathroom vanity. I had a little difficulty with screwing the cushion to the frame because the metal frame tabs where the screw threads go through can not be bent and the screws barely reached the thread hole. I thought the screws were too short, but they are correct. I figured out that I needed to step on the frame to compress the cushion under it just enough that the screws could reach the cushion through the frame. This will make sense once you start to attach that part—just be patient and it will attach very securely. Totally worth it. ... show more

All and al after I had all of the pieces laid out and made sure the counts were correct it took me about 15-20 minutes to put it together and the padding in the cushion part of the chair is really soft. I'm using mine as a vanity chair and I'm really pleased with how it looks
