Have used a handful of times to transport just 1 fat tire bicycle. It seems substantially built, and I don't doubt it can carry the max capacity with little to no issues on the way to the trails. The only negative (which is my fault for not researching enough) is I'm unable to open the swinging back door fully on my gx470. When the rack is tilted down for that very reason, there's just not enough clearance for the door to swing fully open. I plan on obtaining an 18" hitch extension, and hope it fixes that issue. ... show more

The rack has a lot of play in the hitch. It moves around a lot and makes noise while driving. It does however fit all of our bikes and that is the intention of my purchase. Straps never came loose, all in all money spent well.

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this rack for the price point. No complaints whatsoever. For smaller bones make sure you measurer the frame to ensure the supports will fit.

We have a hitch on our new car so we kicked our old hatch rack to the curb. This rack is easy to put together, super easy to install and I like that it locks in place. It’s easy to fold it down to get into the back of the vehicle. I haven’t tried that with bikes on, so I can’t say if that would be a pain or not.
