I was tired of cheap plastic sprayers so I thought I would try this one advertised as "all metal". When it arrived, I was pleased with the look and quality of the pieces. I attached it to my 12 volt sprayer and had a few leaks so make sure you tighten it all before use. Used it today for the first time and was pleased. It adjusts from a fine mist to variations of a stream. It will easily shoot 6' or so to get to hard to reach places. I deducted one star due to the little ring which locks the sprayer wand in the ON position. During this first time use, it kept falling down and locking it in the ON position when I released the handle. I plan to remove this ring. ... show more

    • More for Commercial rather than Residential Use.
It is actually all metal including the valve body, which is nice. I installed it on a 2 gallon hand pump sprayer with a 1/4" hose and I realize this thing can push some serious chemical through. It is overkill for a typical garden sprayer, be aware. The only way I could use it was to reduce pressure in the tank but then I noticed that the sprayer would empty itself over 15 seconds once you stop spraying. It took me a while to catch this quite extensive dripping when spraying weed/grass killer so I've now got dead spots all over the yard. There is no negative pressure in the nozzle or diaphragm to stop the spray so whatever is left in the extension tube empties out once you let go. The lock on ring also automatically engages every time you press the handle (not good for trying to target individual weeds.) I'd argue this item is more targeted to large scale agricultural spraying or trying to knock out a whole grass yard. Not for your every once in a while bug and spot weed spraying. Was excited to be done with the plastic sprayer that dripped around the handle but my search continues. If you acknowledge these things, it's overall a good product, just not what I wanted it for. ... show more

    • No leaks, but thin material and no protection from hose clamp end
First, this works and doesn't leak - that is very important and primary. As soon as I unwrapped it, I did notice that it was very light - the tubing is very thin walled; however, since this is made from stronger stainless and my old wand was brass and even though it was much thicker, I cannot say that the stainless tubing won't be as strong just because it is thinner. The spray pattern is easy adjusted and it patterns well; no leaks from that area either. The only other minor issue is the hose clamp - and this is probably the same with all hose clamps - the end that protrudes from the clamp when tight is sharp and caught on my fingers and clothes. I did solve that with a short piece of 3/4" heat shrink that I shrunk around the clamp - it would have been nice if something similar was included. All minor gripes aside, it fits on my hose (includes two sizes of adapters) and doesn't leak and it sprays well along with having a long and smooth trigger. I have no complaints on functionality; if I have an issue with longevity, I will update my review. ... show more

I bought this for the day when one of my plastic pressure sprayer wands stops working, breaks because I stepped on it, or whatever. I just know they won't last a long time. This will. I'm very impressed with the quality of all the parts included. Heavy, solid, and all metal. Even though I haven't actually used it (because I don't need it yet) I have no doubt that something made with this much quality will work like a charm. ... show more
