I sit in my chair 16 hours a day being in DevOps and being an avid gamer, this chair is awesome. I was able to put it together in under 20 mins and it comes mostly assembled. I like to sit cross legged and although I am not a big guy this big and tall chair is the perfect wide seat to sit any way you want. I am replacing an elecwish which failed about a year in on the lay back function and the foam all around failed in 1.5 years. Some of the reviews I read about the chair tipping. AFTER I had already bought it. Right out of the box it was mostly pre assembled. we didn't have to do much. Our due diligence the first thing we did was see if it was top heavy and would tip? We did not. My Son is very happy with this chair. He's 6'2 about 180 lbs. no signs of tipping just a good solid chair ... show more

The chair itself is very comfortable. The top half of the chair is amazing, although I have only had this for a day so far. I have only had this chair for a day and the tilt mechanism is already giving out on me. I cannot lock the mechanism without it snapping to a different position. The base also feels very cheap. Thankfully I was able to take the base from my old DxRacer and the chair feels much more sturdy. The fact that the tilt mechanism is giving out on day 1 is concerning, but I was also able to salvage parts from my older chairs to make this one feel very sturdy. Very comfortable chair but I received tons of problems on day one. I am well under the weight limit for this chair so I feel like Akracing could use some higher quality parts on the lower half of this chair ... show more
