Safe, secure, wind and rain resistant

The cargo roof carrier was exactly as advertised. Easy access to place on the roof and it held so much. Multiple zippers for access once in place. Multiple straps and strap connections to add your own. The color of black with yellow stripe was a safety issue for me. We packed it up, secured it to the roof and drove 1,800 miles through wind and rain and it held securely and everything packed in it was safe and dry. This would fit on any car with or without racks due to the design. Very pleased with this carrier.

Perfect for the Price

This roof top carrier is all that I could have hoped for. It’s thick, durable and definitely rain resistant. I used this for a recent camping trip and was able to fit in a 10 foot canopy, 2 inflatable boards, 2 sleeping bags, an 8-person tent 2 queen-sized blow-up mattresses, and a duffel bag filled with clothing for 2 people for 5 days. This bag never slipped or slid around on the roof and the non-slip pad was easy to put on first. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to free up more space in their car.

We travel a lot, and recently bought a new suv that is slightly smaller. This fit our dog crate, 4 suitcases, 4 pillows, 4 blankets. And 2 camp chairs. With room to spare. Went through rain storms and lots of dusty roads, our luggage was clean and dry after 13 hours of driving.

SO poorly made; DO NOT BUY

I’d give it zero stars if I could because of an absolute lack of durability. I just bought this thing yesterday and got it all strapped down to my car & loaded this morning for a roadtrip from Texas to Florida. We weren’t even an hour from home (Central Texas) when one of the straps started loudly flapping; we pulled over and realized the yellow square that’s supposed to be affixed to the actual car carrier had come off. It had been glued on rather than stitched. Another two hours down the road and a giant hole ripped across the side above the zipper (not even along a seam). We had to stop and take everything down and cram it in the already full trunk. Aaanyway, don’t waste your money. I recommend going with a hard top carrier.

Survived 1700 miles

Drove a 1700 mile road trip with this loaded up, the antislip mat slipped off within the first couple hundred miles, with the clips it comes with you can only go about 45-50mph max before it tries to fly off the car and makes insane noises, I was able to do highway speeds after clipping it to the frame under my hood in front with my own ropes. It was still very noisy but I was able to do 80-85 mph for most of the way, had to slow down for significant wind tho. I did not have frame rails and did the under the door method. Gas milage was not too bad after securing it better so the front wasn't flipping up I was getting 24 mpg compared to my usual 29 mpg. All in all great value and will get the job down with some modifications and creativity.

Short lived, Not very well made

I was able to get maybe 6 uses out of this bag. One of the straps that was affixed to the bag flew off somewhere on the highway, another strap is partially shredded. If the bag is not packed completely full it has alot of excess. The excess flaps in the wind and creates holes. The strip that covers the zipper with velcro has started to separate from the bag. This bag replaced a previous bag that lasted years, THIS BAG LASTED ROUGHLY 3 MONTHS.

Good quality! Easy to install on our Dodge Journey suv! We went on a 4 hour drive and one of those days It rained very little and there was no leakage inside our stuff. Zippers are working fine and stayed zipped! We put a big tent a suitcase and a big camping tent everything stayed stable nothing broke. Good value for the money!
