I bought the GOYOJO GNG2K mainly for running my boat on the Arkansas river here in Oklahoma at night during high water, and this thing absolutely exceeded my expectations. I’ve used cheaper night vision before and nothing even comes close to this unit. The clarity is unreal. Floating logs, debris, sandbars, and even partially submerged branches showed up almost as clearly as they would in daylight. During high water conditions that kind of visibility can be the difference between life and death and honestly adds a huge level of safety when you’re navigating narrow stretches of river after dark. The 60Hz refresh rate makes movement feel smooth and natural instead of laggy or blurry like other digital night vision devices I’ve tried. I was able to captain the boat comfortably while scanning the river ahead without eye strain or motion blur. Another thing I love is that it doubles as an excellent video camera with its 2k video . You'll been recording nighttime fishing trips and some monster fish battles, and the footage ive got so far looks incredible. Being able to relive those hook sets and drag-screaming fights at night is worth the money by itself. And for a digital nvg it actually doesn't even need the ir like most all others do in the dead of night but if its really necessary The 940nm infrared performance is impressive and the recordings come out way better than I expected from a digitalnight vision device. Battery life has been solid, the helmet mount works great, and the different color modes are actually useful depending on conditions. If you spend time outdoors at night boating, fishing, hunting, camping, or just exploring this is hands down one of the best purchases I’ve made in a long time.

I was extremely impressed with GNG2K. The image quality is clear, bright, and detailed, even in very low light conditions which can be very difficult for DNVG to accomplish. Target identification is quick, and the field of view makes moving around at night feel natural instead of restrictive. The unit itself feels solid and well built without being overly cumbersome on the helmet. It is the lightest DNVG I have used and did not even need a counter weight. The controls are easy to operate while wearing gloves, and once everything is adjusted correctly, it stays secure even while running and moving aggressively. For milsim use, this has been a complete game changer. A DNVG that doesn’t break the bank and also out performs others on the market. Overall, I’m extremely happy with the performance, durability, and clarity. If you’re looking to upgrade your nighttime setup with our breaking the bank or going analog, this is what you want to get and you wont have the next morning regrets.

Digital night vision has come a long way. To begin this review I'll start by saying I got the NVG10 from this company, GOYOJO about a couple of years ago. For what it was, it was a pretty decent optic, not really good for putting on a helmet due to lag and other factors, but for what it was, it was decent. Now enter in a new revision, this GNG2K monocular. Vastly improved over the original. With a much better image, 60hz quality and a real low lux sensor that doesn't require using the IR illuminator. But how does it stack up to it's predecessor? Low lux view - This is vastly improved over the original NVG10. However, to be clear and honest (and apologies, I do not have pictures) I put them side by side across a dark field. I could not see with my naked eyes but enough moon light that once my eyes adjusted I may have been able to see without a lot of detail. The NVG10 was able to bring in enough light to see the field without the IR but the picture was overly bright and fairly washed out and grainy. Movement is not good with 30hz refresh rates. The GNG2K had a much more natural picture, well lit and the refresh rate was much better. Huge upgrade for sure. Weight and size - The NVG10 is quite a bit smaller than the GNG2K. On a helmet the size makes a bit of difference. Weight is not a lot different. Features - The GNG2K has lots of features. Low light capability is really good with several modes and Natural even gives you some color, even though that is not the greatest in terms of accuracy. It also has a compass which is a nice add but read more about that in the Issues section below. Battery life is adequate and the IR is very good. Better field of view and with the higher resolution, the digital zoom is a bit better.. but it is digital.. so you get what you get. Issues - There are a few... Is this good enough to put on a helmet and head into battle?? Well.. Here is where I am stuck. - If you move slowly, ok, it's not bad but it's not quite 1x so there is a bit of distortion there - Refresh is still kind of an issue, much better but still there - In terms of cost vs features getting closer to a PVS14, yes, it is a lot closer than before. - Single monocular on a helmet is ok, but single is single no matter the optic.. not the greatest experience. - Dual setup - Ok, I need a whole section here... Dual Setup I went with buying one and then another and then getting a YSS mount with a Wilcox helmet mount. There are some serious problems here. I cannot speak to the package deal through Goyojo though.. - The biggest issue is the size of these which makes it very challenging to get them away from your face. At the furthest distance the eye cups are resting on my eyes. I have to remove my glasses to even do this. No adjustment will help here. It needs a setup that is something other than the norm. - Different revisions. There are a couple of different versions, as far as I know. One uses a flat top battery and the other uses a normal nipple battery. They are not interchangeable (easily) anyway. This does make it awkward if you have both versions, which I do. - No screen sync. So all the things on the screen can be turned off and that is probably best, however I noticed that the compass on one was about 40 degrees off from the other. This doesn't really build confidence in the compass. Aside from that, your eyes see both screens and the text not being in sync does play havoc. - 2 is definitely better than one. However, the 1x or 1.1x or whatever it is does make it a little challenging. It is not definite 1x magnification. - Independent operation. I guess this goes without saying.. Overall, it is a great system for the cost. But if you want to use it in dual, the factory mount may be the best option as the PVS built mounts do not seem to give the forward adjustment enough unless you go with a Cadex style mount which will set you back even more $$$. On the support side, GOYOJO stands by their product and I did have to go through support for a factory defect on the first camera. They promptly replaced it. I mean, like next day.. which may be more on the Amazon fulfillment side but still. Worth the price - Great night vision for that cost - on the eh side of great for airsoft, I mean it's good but the refresh and 1.?x is a bit difficult to manage.

I liked the GNG2K so much that I decided to try the NVG10. I can’t separate my reviews since both units are on the same Amazon listing so I’m combining them, but I’ll have to condense them as well. The GNG2K is a feature packed, solid unit with a very clear picture. The unit works well without IR in low ambient light but is outstanding with the IR on. It comes with two batteries, charger, cables, screwdriver, SD card and a barrel helmet mount with optional dovetail attachment. The menu is easy to use and offers a lot of customization. The IR has 3 levels, as does the digital zoom. It has a main focus ring and a diopter ring to focus on the display. Built in Wi-Fi allows you to record from your phone via their app. This unit is definitely a contender in the digital NV game. There are a lot of features I don’t have space to go through here, but there are videos out there that cover them. The NVG10 is compact and lightweight. It doesn’t offer the high tech features the GNG2k does but it makes up for it with its handiness. Still has a great picture, a bright IR illuminator and a solid barrel mount. It also has Wi-Fi so you can connect to the app. It has 3 zoom levels, up to 6x, and the IR has 3 levels as well. I’ll be keeping this unit in my go bag because it’s so handy… for quick use you don’t need the recording and other features so this fits the bill perfectly. Either of these units are a great entry into night vision. Battery life is good for long nights hunting, playing airsoft or just night hiking. The GNG2k hits well above it’s price point with advanced features and functions, while the NVG10 is compact, lightweight and extremely handy.

I’ll start off by saying that I have owned several different products from night vision to thermal and the Goyojo GNG2K has many packed features that make it one of the best! First, I wanted to make sure that I tested every single color mode and IR mode because in my previous experiences with night vision, there have been brands that say they have different color modes but they ultimately fail. From using the GNG2K, every single color mode is VIVID and great detail even objects that are far away! With 4x digital zoom and a 45 degree field of view, this product goes above and beyond what you would ideally use it for whether it be for hunting or even a tactical use. It has stealth infrared for tactical use as well if that’s what you desire to use this product for. Another reason that I enjoy this product so much is the ability to use two of them together as night vision binoculars which is a very handy feature as it comes with all of the hardware needed to attach together and also attach to a helmet or headset! Overall, this is a rugged and feature packed night vision monocular which in my personal opinion, blows other brands out of the water with everything that you get in this package compared to others and also factoring in the price which is very affordable as we all know when it comes to night vision! I’m super happy with this product and price and can’t wait to get another one so I can ultimately attach them as binoculars!

As someone who’s spent countless nights in the woods hunting predators, I’ve tried a number of optics. The GOYOJO GNG2k punches well above its price point. The image is crisp, the Night Vision works great with little to NO light source with visibility beyond a few hundred yards. The IR illumination works well in complete darkness with visibility reaching 75-100yrd I’ve also used it while helping search for a lost dog in our area, and it made a huge difference when scanning fields, tree lines, and creek bottoms after dark. The compact size and helmet-mount capability are a nice bonus, but I mostly appreciate how easy it is to carry and deploy when every second counts. If you spend your time hunting, scouting, trapping, or just enjoy being outdoors after darkness , this is a solid piece of gear that won’t disappoint. I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone looking to see what’s lurking in the darkness.

The G2GNK is lightweight, compact, and packed with some really impressive features. The image quality is clear, and it performs surprisingly well without needing an IR illuminator, which is a huge advantage when you don’t want to give away your position. The ability to record directly from the unit is another great feature and makes capturing footage incredibly easy. It’s also light enough that it doesn’t add unnecessary weight to your setup, even during extended use. The controls are simple and straightforward, making it easy to get up and running. For the performance, features, and price, I think it’s some of the best digital night vision you can get for the money.
