  • one of the better coops
Size: 67.2"L x 25.4"W x 28.1"H Color: Grey and light grey
I have purchased several different chicken coops in the past few years , and this one has been the easiest to assemble and is sturdy . Purchased for chickens and ducks. Very spacious coop . Very pleased with this back yard coop

  • Great for silkies/bantams
Size: 67.2"L x 25.4"W x 28.1"H Color: Grey and light grey
We bought this for our Silkie flock that kept getting assaulted by our layer hens. Ridiculously easy to put together. The wood is not very sturdy so I was worried it would break when we moved it from our kitchen island to its final home outdoors - but it made it unscathed. We have it sitting on blocks underneath our larger, hand made coop where it's protected from the elements. Fits five adult silkies comfortably with space for probably another three more if they just sleep in it at night. It's too short and small for standard size hens in my opinion. I can't stress enough that while it looks beautiful, it is not made from good wood and would probably not last out in the backyard. If anything larger than a skunk wanted to get in, it would not be difficult to do. Put it in a SECURE run and use it for bantams and you're good to go. ... show more

  • Perfect for backyard birds
Size: 67.2"L x 25.4"W x 28.1"H Color: Grey and light grey
My 4 chickens are only teenagers right now. But they love this hen house. When they leave their outdoor playpen area…they head straight to their hen house. It is sturdy enough for back yard birds where you are not worried about wild animals getting to your hens. I did have to replace some hardware. Assembly was easy. Arrived in perfect shape. ... show more

  • Good for Indoor use
Size: 67.3"L x 36.8"W x 40.6"H Color: Dark grey
We purchased this as a simple coop to house our hens overnight inside a garage. We have a small flock, and a large raccoon population. For our purpose, this works. But make no mistake: this coop is not designed to last over winter. The wood is flimsy and weak, and all the hinges are craft-strength (like for arts and crafts-not even remotely heavy duty). The design is well thought out. Construction was easy. But the materials are a dry, cheap pine. You will also need to pre-drill half of your holes to keep from splitting the wood. To be clear, all the starting holes are predrilled. But there are no holes in the wood that is being drilled INTO. I had to predrill through the pre-drilled holes for every single screw. 5 stars for design. 3 stars for ease in putting together (would be 5 if not for the lack of predrilled holes). 1 star for quality of materials and hinges. Hence a 3 star average. ... show more

  • As expected for the price range.
Size: 67.2"L x 25.4"W x 28.1"H Color: Grey and light grey
I purchased this little coop for my young chickens that still need to be separated from the adult chickens. The product was very easy to assemble. I was able to do most of it by myself. I had help with installing the side hinges on the lid to the sleeping area. I only gave 3 stars for sturdiness because I know how destructive and nimble -fingered racoons can be so I am a little afraid they will still get in, but for the price it is as I expected. I will be adding additional locking latches on the top lid, the tray and the front doors. I placed the coop inside of a fairly secure pen that consists of three sides of a dog kennel wrapped with regular chicken wire on the sides with 2 x 4 welded wire fencing wired over the top and railroad ties on the outside on the ground and limestone blocks around the interior on the ground. I have never had anything try to dig into the pen in 7 years, but my older chickens are shut securely in a larger walk-in coop attached to the pen. This is a very nice looking product and is a good size for my six young 10-week-old Buff Orpington hens to reach maturity and be ready to go with the big girls. I partitioned off a portion of the pen for them to run around and be chickens. One thing that really impressed me was the fact that an extra piece of all of the fasteners was provided. ... show more

  • Absolute Junk. Falls apart if moved.
Size: 79"L x 37.8"W x 20.73"H Color: Light grey
This is made of flimsy, thin boards and has no bracing along the bottom so it folds in on itself. One entire end is open and has a top open door and a side door. I had to close it in, add supports to the bottom and anchor this to the ground. So it is not a mobile coop it would fall apart if moved to much. It is not animal proof I reinforced with multiple layer of chicken wire and an electric fence perimeter. For the price of this junk plus delivery I could have gotten a bigger enclosure made of wire and metal and know my pets were safe but I needed space ASAP so I kept while waiting for a real chicken run to arrive. • Great pen!
Size: 79"L x 37.8"W x 20.73"H Color: Light grey
I'm using this pen indoor for a mama cat and her 5 babies, there's plenty of room for a bed, litter box and even a kitten sized cat tree. Highly recommend for indoor use.

  • Aivituvin Chicken Coop with two nesting boxes is a nice little henhouse
Size: 67.2"L x 25.4"W x 28.1"H Color: Grey and light grey
The Aivituvin Chicken Coop with two nesting boxes is a nice little henhouse, with plenty of room for four laying hens. We will be keeping four laying hens for maybe six months for one of our kids, so this was purchased with the four laying hens in mind. Assembly instructions are good, all hardware is included with a spare screw of each size, and assembly is easy. It took us four hours to assemble, but because we assembled each section to check fit, drilled through all screw pilot holes, and reassembled with wood glue. Plus, I am retired, so assembly time was not an issue; we took our time. Not all screw holes lined up, so I marked, center punched, and drilled for screw holes where needed. Given the drilled pilot holes, no wood split when screws were run down. The result is nice sturdy little henhouse on which I built a frame to attach a covered chicken run. Since the chicken run is attached to the front of the hen house, the door latches were not accessible. So, I moved the door latches to the inside of the hen house, where they are readily accessible once the roof is opened. I do not like the latches, but they will suffice. The wood seems to be cheap stuff, but once assembled, it is plenty sturdy. I am satisfied with the purchase, but because I had to drill through all the pilot holes, and relocate and drill some new screw holes, and I do not like the latches, I give it four stars rather than 5 stars. ... show more
