Recently, I realized I have been paying an exorbitant amount of money on brand-name trashbags. Typically I just pick them up at the grocery store, but after doing the math and noticing I was paying nearly 50 cents per bag, I was on a mission to find a better option. My kitchen trash can isn't large, but I prefer to use the oversized black bags, as I was having issues with the standard white kitchen bags splitting. I spent nearly an hour looking at many different companies and options, calculating price per bag. I stumbled upon this brand, Veska, who had a phenomenal price when you buy the bags in bulk (250 bags per box). Typically I use trash bags that have a drawstring and was reluctant to try ones that just tie. I ordered anyway, and am so glad I did! The bags have been wonderful! They hold up just as well as the expensive brand names I am used to. Surprisingly, I actually *prefer* tie bags vs. drawstring, as I can make a thick double knot, which is easier to carry outside to the curb on trash day instead of holding a heavy trash bag by a thin string that digs into you hand. While the 250 bag box will last me a long time, I plan to continue ordering from this brand going forward. They made a fantastic product at an unbeatable price. I highly recommend these bags!

The first time I was using one of these bags, I accidentally jabbed my thumbnail through it, making a small hole. I wasn’t particularly surprised; the plastic used for the trash bags is pretty thin and doesn’t seem to be much tougher than a common grocery store bag. They’re fine for everyday garbage but I wouldn’t put broken glass or anything sharp in one. Don’t overfill it, either, or you risk the bag breaking open. Overall, remember that you get what you pay for. These bags are inexpensive but kind of thin and weak. Suitable for light duty. We’re going to use them for a major Spring cleanup and having some work done on the house.

Good quality trash bags. They aren't super durable so they aren't really suitable for lots of yard waste or anything but for just basic cleaning up and such these are great bags at a great value. Overall, I recommend them.

They are trash bags. They are not super thick construction/yard-work grade ones. I would say they are light-duty. But you get a lot for the money so they are value. So do not expect tough, tear-resistant bags. If you set these expectations, then these bags are great for everyday trash. If you double-bag them, you might get better tear-resistance for branches/twigs or forks/knives.

I normally use 42-gallon contractor grade garbage bags for yard work, which is probably overkill for that particular activity. These bags are (obviously) a bit smaller, and on the plus side a bit cheaper in price, but are still a good size and of good quality for gathering leaves and other yard debris. They are a bit thinner than the contractor grade bags, but are still durable enough to handle twigs and small branches. They have no built-in bag ties and are square on the top, so you need a piece of string or a plastic tie to seal them with. They are better than your normal indoor trash bags, but are not as robust as the thick bags made for construction sites....they're somewhere in-between and work well for household use. They're a good value considering that you get 250 of them.

First, you do get a lot of bags for the price. But they really aren't the best. Certainly not for yard waste. Better suited for cleaning up around the house and garage. I think I'll get the most use out of them for bringing comforters to and from the laundromat. They aren't very thick and sturdy. But if you have a large waste can that you use for papers and recyclables, this might be good for that.
