  • Easy to assemble. Perfect as a moveable run
Easy to assemble. All the necessary hardware is included. I love it for the extra room it gives my girls! The hens love it too!

  • Not for predator protection
I got this to initially house two rabbits so they had space indoors until I bought their clearpet pens. Now that I have them this will go outside for daytime use so they can munch on grass. I bought a cover that fits over it for shade and rain guard. I will not keep them inside this over night but will work during day until I get them their big pen built. All in all, was very helpful and has served its purpose. ... show more

  • Great product!!
Great product! I see there are no more available. What a shame. I love how these can be connected. As you see I put one on top of the other. I can disconnect and just make it a longer run if I wish. My young chickens are very happy! Predrilled holes. I put it together by myself. Very sturdy. I had a few pieces crack. Just don’t push your screw in too far. ... show more

  • Don't bother!
The run was easy to put together BUT it has no bottom panel. This is worthless if you're wanting to protect your chickens from predators. It is going to cost more money to create a safe bottom panel. Plus the latches are easy for raccoons to open. Bad purchase! Save your money.

  • Works for now.
I just had to have chickens right away of course and bought this one coop that didn’t have that large of a run under it. After a week of watching my roo and two hens in there, I needed to buy this run so they had more places to roam. This is for only until spring and then maybe it will be a maternity ward within my larger yard. I bought everything already. I just HAD to get my chickens during winter so this is set up in my polebarn until we have no snow and warmer weather. I have two satin silkie hens and a frizzle silkie rooster in here. Before this, I think the coop I bought said 4-6 hens and I would cap that at 4. I just felt the under part that is fenced was too small. 4 would be pushing it. With this new set-up. I’d now say it’s more fit for 4-6. I wouldn’t buy this for big chickens. Smaller breeds will find it more comfortable. Went together easy. The top that opens, the latch provided is cheap plastic of all things. I bought a different latch to modify that. Any tuff animal could break through it. Also, the fence along the inside, the staples I found to be spread apart too much so I took my staple gun around the entire internal part to ensure they were pinned down more. I will be buying 3 new locks for the outside as well. They don’t latch into anything, just keep the door shut. It’s a spring latch. I’ll be buying the ones that slide into another piece of actual metal. ... show more

  • Turtle enclosure.
Used this for a summer inclosure for my turtles. Added a cement bin for water, a ramp to get out and grass area to bask. They love it!!

  • great design, wimpy materials
This lightweight chicken run was pretty easy to assemble. I really like the design--many ways to open it up, reach in, clean, etc. The trouble is the lightweight wood. The doors just keep coming off their hinges, and I fear if I move it too much it will break. However, for the price it is working for me as a little pen for 2 silkie chickens. But I woud recommend covering it up to avoid exposure to rain/snow, no way the flimsy wood can handle that. ... show more
