Was a bit difficult to install, but the instructions are clear and easy to read. This saved me from having to buy an entirely new window unit. The brackets on the top are flimsy, but that could just be because of my AC unit and not the frame.

Truly despised trying to install this product. Despite the fact that it is marketed as a solution for extra wide windows, it is still too narrow in my case. This means theres a gap at the top and bottom of my AC where the frames halves dont touch. Additionally, the technique described in the directions to measure the accordion material was imperfect, it made the panels about 1" too tall when i trimmed them. Wouldn't have been too big of a deal, but the scissors they provide to trim the material are exceedingly difficult to use, so cutting everything a second time was a nightmare. Now that its installed, the frames are pulling away from the edges of my window, because the accordion panels are stretched so tight. Ive covered the gapping thats occurring around all of the pieces with the provided insulated foam tape, but it looks pretty junky. Not a great $40 spend. ... show more

Worked great was a little big but was able to cut to length. Just a few minor adjustments and was ready to install. Now to see how long it will last.

    • Decent product too hard to customize and cheap scissors to cut through the accordion

The accordion portion is very hard to cut very hard to make a straight line and measure correctly so that it sits in the tracks well I undercut by little bit so I had to substitute with duct tape and it doesn't look good but it's functional
