Was a bit difficult to install, but the instructions are clear and easy to read. This saved me from having to buy an entirely new window unit. The brackets on the top are flimsy, but that could just be because of my AC unit and not the frame.

Truly despised trying to install this product. Despite the fact that it is marketed as a solution for extra wide windows, it is still too narrow in my case. This means theres a gap at the top and bottom of my AC where the frames halves dont touch. Additionally, the technique described in the directions to measure the accordion material was imperfect, it made the panels about 1" too tall when i trimmed them. Wouldn't have been too big of a deal, but the scissors they provide to trim the material are exceedingly difficult to use, so cutting everything a second time was a nightmare. Now that its installed, the frames are pulling away from the edges of my window, because the accordion panels are stretched so tight. Ive covered the gapping thats occurring around all of the pieces with the provided insulated foam tape, but it looks pretty junky. Not a great $40 spend. ... show more

Did not fit my air conditioner’s slots on the side for installation. But was easily cut to fit. The quality of the plastic is much better than what my air conditioner came with. Took a bit of work to make it fit… but they fit.

A little complicated to install. I'm sure someone with adequate knowledge of tools and such would have no problem. I finally got it put together as best I could and it is serving its purpose.
