I bought this for use with a new 12,000 BTU window AC. It was easy to put together, easy to install, and made the placement of the larger A/C unit into my window so easy. End of season and it was easy to remove. The only suggestion that I would have is to use a piece of clear tape over the levels so that they remain in place when you have to move it. They fall out easily too.

Please read first. This product is great once it's put together. The written instructions are the worst however. But there is a great video on Youtube. Make sure to watch the entire video until the end before you assemble it. I became quite frustrated with having to unscrew nuts and screws to adjust it to my window situation more than once. The video helps. The assembly instructions deserve negative stars but once you set this up it's the best. Luckily it will be all ready for next year without having to assemble it again. Regardless of assembly I have to give this 5 stars. Great invention! I recommend buying it.

so i figured it out in the end but the instructions were very hard to follow! it would be great if you could update the instructions or add a video of someone explaining how to build this. other than that, it looks good, just as expected. it fit my window which is 28” wide so that was good. i love tha you don’t need to drill anything in so i can remove it after summer is over. seems very stable and sturdy! overall good product

I was excited to get this because I thought it would work great for my purposes and save me a lot of the usual hassles with installing a new ac unit. I was sadly and totally wrong. It’s a one size fits most with a lot of assembly. Get out your toolkit, a couple people to help, and set aside a good bit of time. The instructions are unclear with not the greatest drawings. You will need someone to hold the multiple parts together while you screw and bolt them together. Some spots are so tight you need small hands and an offset screwdriver to fit in there. Some attachments you are trying to hold a nut with your fingertip as you try to get the bolt started in them. A lock washer with a standard nut would be better there than a lock nut. It’s not particularly stable even after it’s all bolted together and doesn’t hold the an ac unit that weighs less than their maximum. It doesn’t grip the window ledge and the whole thing wants to fall out of the window. Luckily we have a deck so the outside of the ac and this support frame are sitting on a stack of boards on a bench to keep it in place. Not a well thought out or constructed piece of equipment and a waste of time and money.

This air conditioner bracket is very well-made and very strong and will hold up to 200 pounds. If you want to put it together properly, don’t use the instructions. Watch the video instead. you can stop and start the video whenever you want step by step. It is not hard to assemble and I like the idea that you do not have to drill or screw anything. If possible, use a ratchet and an open end wrench on the nuts and bolts not a pair of pliers because you can strip the nuts. I Just assembled mine after two weeks in the box and it will be another week before I can use it because I am waiting for new side panels.

I bought one of these drill less air conditioner support brackets from two separate brands here on Amazon. And even though the first one/not this one was hard to figure out how to put it together as the instructions were almost completely not existent. This one didn’t come with all the pieces needed but instead with unusable pieces. So if you’re like me when you go to do a project that is the time to get it done. Well I had to go to two stores over two days and get assistance from two different men one at each store to try & help me find this exact item that wasn’t enough put in the packaging. So of course the window to work on this more got crushed for several more weeks and stuff moved around or gets put a top of the still left pieces to get the job done. So just on that factor I’m disappointed in this bracket even though it seems like to like the better bracket and has more ways to see how to put it together with their video. Yet you’re at my level of handyman, you will be stopping, pausing, rewinding over & over again to see what the guy is doing in the assembly & installation example video. So I might feel less irritated once I get this put in the window finally after I get back to watching this video again and finding all the rest of the pieces hopefully still in the area I left them. I’m going to take a picture of the two different types of pieces together. The one on the left I have found a use for yet as it hasn’t fit anywhere up to the almost last stages and the one on the right is the one I didn’t have enough of and I went & got 5 more hopefully what will be enough. Somebody at this company will probably defend their product and it’s supplies but I cant say a novice would agree. And really most of us putting this kind of things together are novices.

So this is like the fourth one of these that I've had to buy on Amazon, and unlike all the other's that are cheap and poorly made, this one is actually great. Sturdy materials, easy to assemble, and I have no doubts about my AC falling out of our second story. Definitely would recommend.

Wasted hours to get this assembled. sure its decent quality but it came in so many small pieces which granted me the pleasure of wasting a saturday afternoon putting it together. maybe this company should consider having it mostly assembled instead of worrying about saving themselves the cost.
