Fit our LG LW1517IVSM better than I thought it would and did a good job of blocking most wind/dust. The straps are a bit weak - would definitely recommend a pair of 10’ endless ratchet straps.

This item just came in the mail, it's mid-August and hot. So far, I just checked it out and the fabric looks good and should do the job nicely. It looks like it should last a while but who knows. I can't imagine it would be hard to install. (Famous last words) Only time will tell. My plan is to also use a bungy cord as well considering the comments I read from other people that bought this item, just to play it safe. What could it hurt? I also bought it ahead of time so I would get the size I needed and have it before it was the last minute. The five stars I gave on all the ratings is contingent on when I start using this item, but it looks like it will be a go. ... show more

It's made of thinner vinyl than I expected, so I don't know how it will hold up over time, but it is working well so far. The way my window ac unit is braced underneath made it necessary to cut out the entire bottom panel of the cover, but the bottom of the unit is solid anyway so it only needs to be covered on its top and sides anyway. ... show more

So the brackets are in the way for this to slide on completely. I didn’t even think about that until we started putting it on and we can’t do it because of the brackets that hold it up. You have to cut it up to make it work.

The unit came with 2 female connectors sewed onto one of the straps and so had no way to put that strap together with the connectors. Other than that the cover is fine. Something like this is not complicated. It just needs to cover the vents which it does.
