You can set up to 10 different irrigation areas--different plant types, lawn layouts, topography--and the system will deliver just the water it needs. Not only is this better for your plants but is also a excellent way to save water. By adjusting the water output precisely to the needs of your yard it also helps minimize soil errosion caused by overwatering. The app also allows you to schedule watering as required by the specifics of your lawn and the prevailing weather patterns. The system adapts to the weather meaning you'll never come home and see your sprinklers at work in the middle of a downpour. What an absolute amazing piece of technology! Truly is a must have if you have plants that are needy or sensitive to watering schedules and you just don't have the time it takes for their picky needs, like in our case, we have kids now and kids take presidency over plants now. Before kids, watering wasn't an issue. Now, it seemed like it was at the bottom of the list of things and the yard was being neglected. But with this awesome tool, it's now a set and forget kinda thing. It's precise. Very precise in every way. With the app on your phone or laptop, you can dial in every single variable you can think of for every single point in your backyard. You can even program it to only water your property, no more wasted water hitting fences or the side of the house either. Just set it to not water in those places and that's it. Same to say for areas that don't need water at all. It's a water saver. Time saver. Time gainer too. Money saver, peace of mind saver. List goes on. Truly a good value for the money when you factor in all those different kinds of savings I listed. Especially after a few seasons, I bet it pays for its self in water (or electric if on a well) conservation alone. Not to mention all the free time it gives you to out somewhere else that's better use of your time. Set up is easy. Just takes a bit of time to get the app, sign up, make an account and start mapping your yard and choosing all your preferences and getting all the settings just right. It's going to be different for everyone due to how apt you are with technology and how difficult your watering area is. We ended up getting a second one for my parents yard and they are in their late 70s and didn't ask for a single bit of help setting it up and getting it started. It's a bit tedious when first setting it all up but after that initial period of getting it up and going, it's pretty much set and forget from there on out. So it's more than worth it.... By far. Excellent gift for anyone with no time to water or if you have special or needy plants. Or like my parents, those who travel a lot can have a peace of mind that they won't come home to sick looking or dead plants due to Florida's harsh weather

I set this up in about 20 minutes. The main unit goes right on the outdoor faucet, and then I used the app to determine the four watering zones: lawn, flower beds, vegetable garden, and shady area with existing shrubs. Each different zone has its own scheduled times depending on what type of plants are in it and what the ground around them is like. Also, I can change how often and how long to water each zone without having to touch the hardware. The app will automatically pull in weather data, so it will stop watering based on predicted rainfall and also when rain does fall. After the first month, my water bill looks like it has shrunk quite a bit. The system is set to do the watering in the early morning, and it waters each zone on the same schedule and skips days when it rains. I find myself reaching for the hose much less often now that I have this automated watering system to do most of my routine watering. The only downside to setting this up is that the rain sensor needs to be aimed accurately so that it won't get set off by rain runoff from the roof. The system has worked great for me, and I will know for sure in a couple of seasons if the durability is long-term.

I live in Central Florida, and my lawn got decimated with this year’s unusually harsh winter. I’ve lived in this area for nearly five decades, and this winter was one of the coldest I can remember. I’ve been using Aiper’s IrriSense 2 smart sprinkler for a couple of weeks in hopes of regrowing something green. At this point I don’t care if its weeds, because the brown is bad. Unboxing the IrriSense 2 is similar to Aiper’s other products. Having unboxed several Aiper products I can confirm they package their products very well. Once you unfold the top flaps you’re greeted with a large quick start guide. It’ll walk you though downloading the app (Apple and Android), installing the IrriSense 2 unit, pairing your device to the app, and creating a task. I have several smart devices in my home, and Aiper’s app is one of the best. It is easy to use, it provides a lot of useful information, and they do a good job of walking you through whatever you’re trying to accomplish. I set the IrriSense 2 in my front yard, ran a hose from my reclaimed water tap, and provided power. From its position it was able to reach about 85% of my front lawn. Using set points in the app I ensured it wouldn’t water my driveway, I had it reduce pressure so it didn’t reach the road, it ran full power for several degrees, and once again reduced power so it didn’t hit my house. I set it to mimic half-inch of rain and pressed start. The app reported it ran for 35 minutes and used approximately 50 gallons of water. Subsequent runs provided similar stats. While this is a truly impressive smart sprinkler, it isn’t the sprinkler for me. Wherever you decide to place it you need water and power sources. If those sources are close that’s great! Both power and water are 25’ away from where I need the sprinkler, and they also must cross my driveway. To fully water my front yard I’d need two, possibly three, smart sprinklers and isn’t financially reasonable. My backyard is similar, and I’d be looking at nearly $3k in sprinklers alone. For that price I could fix, or replace, my existing irrigation system. Do I recommend Aiper’s IrriSense 2 smart sprinkler? It is an awesome unit, but only you can determine if its worth its hefty price tag. I’ll be moving my Aiper IrriSense 2 to my small garden area, and I’ll continue to use my oscillating sprinklers to do the bulk of my lawns watering.

Watched a video that mentioned this product and since I am an avid gardener with a terraced garden and no in ground irrigation system and spend 4-8 hours a week manually watering my garden, I immediately came to check it out. Only to be very disappointed. This very expensive product is only going to be useful for someone with a small garden, ideally that’s really mostly lawn, that can be watered from one central point. And, bear in mind you’ll have to have both an hose and an electric power cord connected and hooked up to it as well. And, if that’s your situation, there are much cheaper alternatives available. In my 6 decades of gardening experience I can think of few situations where this would be a good solution, much less worth the price tag. Notice also how every single review is from someone who received this for free.

This smart irrigation sprinkler by Aiper is awesome. The setup was super easy and the app walked you through everything to get going. I was mapping my backyard in no time. Mapping the yard was easy and actually fun remote controlling a sprinkler to adjust the pressure and angle of the spray. This unit does require an AC outlet for its power adapter. I love that after each watering, it tells you the amount of water it used in gallons and how long that watering session took. You can also adjust the watering depth for how much water the soil will get. The entire unit housing is plastic, so I am a bit worried about how it will hold up being in the full sun for 8 hours a day. I wish Aiper sold cover that can be put in to protect it when both not in use and when in use. It’s just been proven that plastic doesn’t hold up well to UV exposure. The sprinkler coverage is incredible, it covers my entire backyard no problem and I can even tell it to water specific plants just by placing the plant within the boarder. This sprinkler has been a game changer for my backyard and I love the water savings it offers. Of course it uses hose water which most of the time is the same water that comes out of your sink faucet instead of reclaimed water that normal sprinklers are plumbed to but with the water savings, it is still a good idea to have. I feel that this smart irrigation system is perfect for those who want a simple to use sprinkler system. I am excited to try out the fertilizer bag option that this sprinkler is capable of spraying as well.

Wow! This Aiper smart irrigation system is truly awesome! I was so excited to get this set up right away in my back yard, its exactly what my grass and plants needed to really start to thrive. It was simple to set up, just place it in an area in your yard, hook up the hose, and plug in the long power cord. Then connect it to Wi-Fi and download the Aiper app on your phone to control settings, mapping, etc. You can choose times and areas you want to be watered, and it even can fertilize with liquid fertilizer if you need. It has multiple watering zones, and so many cool features such as wind adjustment and rain sensor. It covers a large area, my entire back yard and garden with no problem. It evenly distributes every area just right, its efficient and accurate, plus it save on water, which is always a plus. I will say it has been better than the underground sprinkler system we had before this by a long shot. Since using this system I have quickly noticed a difference in my grass and plants. They look incredible, strong and lush, and absolutely thriving like never before. Every time I look at my back yard I can't help but smile, it just looks so healthy. The sprinkler is great quality, solid and heavy duty, but still light enough to move around if needed. My husband and I love this irrigation system, I'm so happy I decided to give it a try. Very satisfied and would definitely recommend it. Its so much better than those old sprinkler sets. It is pricey, but totally worth it for me. I will be purchasing a other one soon for my front yard as well, that's how amazing this thing is. Great quality, effective, versatile and gets the job done perfectly!

I recently ordered the Aiper IrriSense 2 Smart Irrigation System for my 3 lot sized yard, and WOW! This is such an incredible piece of technology and has made lawn watering such a convenience! When we set it up to use this for the first time, I was shocked at how EASY this is to use and operate! The manual/instructions provided are also very easy to read and follow along. The coverage for the size is incredible. I have a huge lawn, and this is able to reach farther in distance than I could've hoped or expected! The Sprinkler System has excellent water pressure,too. The aiper app for this system also works without issue and is user-friendly. I really love how every aspect of this system is designed for convenience! Overall, this is well worth every penny for its performance, quality, and genius design for easy lawn watering! I never thought I would be this excited about a sprinkler system, but alas, I am! I would highly, highly recommend this Aiper Irrisense 2 Smart Irrigation/Sprinkler System to others!! Thank you!
