I’m so impressed with the quality of this hose at such a great price. I use it to water my vegetable garden, so I needed something that was drinking safe. I had purchased another RV hose but it was super heavy and it kinked. So I replaced it with this one and I am amazed at how easy it is to use. I keep mine on a wicker basket by the faucet and I just pull it out to water my garden beds on the side yard very comfortably. I like that is made of metal so that it will last longer. But I was worried if it was going to get hot to the touch in the sun (I live in Southern California) however it doesn’t! I saw some reviews saying it leaked but mine does not. So much lighter than a traditional hose. I don't want to say the name of my previous potable hose that I had for a year because I bought it at Amazon, but I put it out by my fence to give away and no one seems to want it. (Maybe the right person hasn't driven by.) Coils up easily in a little pile when putting it away. No kink. I was afraid I'd trip when stepping over previous hoses. Doesn't get hot in the sun. Connected to my Gardena German quick connector hose/faucet pieces. Does NOT get dirty. I write this because the previous hose was light green and COULD NOT be cleaned...with anything. Why is this not on a scan when searching for hoses? It was a "side video". So glad I found it! ... show more

This was for use as a leader hose for a garden hose extension--new bibb (faucet) placed in more convenient location, leader connects new bibb to wall bibb. Chose this product because of expected better durability compared to nonmetallic versions. This was a five-foot hose; product is light-weight and does not kink. Being metal, it is flexible but not to the extent of rubber or plastic garden hose. These considerations not so important given short length. More relevant: easily attached at both ends, with no leaks while continuously fully pressurized with water. Seller mentions on Amazon that manufacturing process limits inside diameter, but water pressure should still be good--held true here. ... show more

The hose is very flexible and lightweight. That's about the only good thing I can say about it. The connectors are very thin and can be easily damaged if you aren't careful. Apparently, the hose contained inside the exterior metal protective sleeve is also very thin-walled, because it burst after 5 months of use. I use this in my RV. Water is supplied by a spigot located at campground water pedestals. The first thing I attach to the spigot is a pressure regulator. Pressure never exceeds 50 pounds in the hose that supplies water to my RV. This hose is attached after the regulator, so pressure is never above 50psi. Fortunately, this lays outside on the ground. When it burst, it just leaked onto the ground and not into my RV. Save your money. Buy a good quality hose. This one isn't worth the money. *******Follow up 8/1/2022************* I bought several different lengths of these last year. As I wrote in my original review, one of them burst. The other 2 lasted for the entire year, but there are other issues. I had the other 2 permanently connected to my water filters in my RV. Attached are pictures of the inside of the connectors. The water is eating away at the aluminum and leaving white gunk on the inside of the connectors. I have several other high quality hoses that I use constantly. None of them has this issue.
