Surprisingly good color! Took a gamble and I was happy with the color from this! Not super long lasting but better than I expected as I’ve never used this brand. I diluted the color in conditioner and got exactly what I wanted out of it!

I'm a massive fan of all things retro, as well as anything neon. I've been on the hunt for years to find a bold pink to fit my personality, and I've tried nearly every major brand out there (Xmondo, Ion, Arctic Fox, Manic Panic, Lunar Tides, Iroiro... You name it!) One day I just happened to be browsing on Amazon when I stumbled upon Adore and the shade Neon Pink. With the price tag, I honestly wasn't expecting much, but I thought I'd give it a whirl. The second that dye hit my bleached head, I absolutely knew this stuff was gonna be BRIGHT... and I was so stoked! While it isn't advertised as UV reactive, it very much is, as you can see from my blacklight pic. As far as the dye itself... It has a nice, light and subtle scent. The formula has a more gel like consistency, which makes it much easier to apply without making a horrendous mess! My hair is right above my shoulders and very, very thick (think lion's mane), and one 4oz bottle easily does my whole head. I always buy the double pack so I can mix a little dye into my conditioner. Also, I personally dye my hair once a month because I like to keep it super bright...but honestly, I could probably get away with not coloring it for several months and it would still be vibrant. So, if you're looking for an exceptionally bright, long-lasting Neon Pink...this is definitely the brand for you! However, if you're the type that likes to change your hair up every few weeks, DO NOT use this stuff...only go for Adore if you're ready to commit to the pink! ... show more

This will stain everything so follow the directions carefully and wear gloves. Though it washes off after awhile and it's not too big of a deal (just a heads up if you use it before something important comes up) I don't think the colors are very vibrant, but I'm willing to do a second round to see how vibrant I can get it. I have now used a few different colors and want to update for the ones I've used. Please note, I have been using this on my natural grey/silver hair and I usually mix it with some conditioner to help avoid the drip factor that the gel texture creates. Pink Blush - By far the best of the colors by this brand that I have tried. It sticks and is quite bright if I use heat and leave it on for an hour. The initial color tends to be more magenta pink than hot pink but it fades out the loveliest cotton candy pink on my gray hair. Fruit Punch - This is a beautiful color but it refuses to take to my roots at all. I've tried heat, leaving it on longer, and nothing seems to make it stick. On my ends, it looks like a rose gold. Cotton Candy -- Cotton candy was true to the bottle on my natural hair. My hair is a mix of white and grey and I used it all over with the hope it would take to my white hair. It did faintly, but the application was a bit patchy. There would some spots that didn’t take but I think that is because the texture is more of a gel than a cream and the directions call for it on wet hair. Easy to use semi permanent hair color. Leave on for 15 minutes. Has a sweet smell. The colorant is a jelly texture. Leaves hair with a light pink color. I started with naturally black hair that was bleached twice. I then colored with this dye twice. The remaining color is a nice light pink but my copper undertones are still showing even though I’ve applied toner prior to using this hair color. I don’t blame the dye for the undertones. ... show more
