First time using anything like this, but I deviated a lot from the instructions. Mainly I mixed the color with conditioner. We ended up with about a 1/3 of a cup of the mixture and after her’s and mine we have a lot left over. And I used about 1/4 of the pink in the bottle. My 5 yo wanted pink hair better than she could get from hair chalk. She has golden blond hair. Here’s what I did for hers - mixed the color with a bunch on conditioner. No measurement, but the consistency was pretty thick. It wouldn’t drip off my paint brush. - I used tin foil and divided her hair into sections. Brushed the dye on with a 1” craft paint brush and folded it in the foil. I needed to do smaller sections but she is super squirmy so I did the best I could. It ended up with huge missed sections. Oh well! - I hit each tin foil wrapper with a hair dryer for like 30 seconds. She hated this part, so the hair dryer barely happened - We left the foil in for about 45 minutes - Rinsed in hot water because she wouldn’t handle old! The pink in her medium blond is very bright and beautiful. I have light/medium mousy brown hair. There are lighter streaks, maybe getting close to blond. -1 I used the same color + conditioner mix 2- I sectioned my hair and brushed on the color. My sections were smaller than my daughter’s but doing this to myself was really hard. 3- I hit it with the hair dryer for a few minutes and then got bored. So I just left them in for about 15 minutes. Probably should have been more patient. 4- I used hot to start rinsing, then remembered I should be using cold. Oops. Super happy with the results! First, let me start by saying that my daughter has colored her hair with many different brands of fun colors. She has very long, thick hair and we normally go through 3 bottles and we're usually stretching it then. I ordered 6 bottles of this color as I cannot buy it at any store near me. I wanted to make sure had plenty. We went through two bottles and just a drop of a third. Most of her hair was done this color with just a bit of the front done with the Indigo Blue of this same brand. The color is very vibrant. I had bleach-bathed her hair prior to applying this color as she had done her hair red before this. The directions, I believe, say to leave it on 15 minutes. She left it in for 3 hours. It took very well and has been washed once since we applied it so I cannot, at this time, attest to how well it will hold up to washing. She only washes her hair about every 4th day to preserve the color. At this point, I would recommend this product. As far as ease of application; this was much easier to apply than some products. The liquid is thinner than some colors I've applied to her hair. It makes it far easier to apply than the pasty-textured dyes. Just be careful to watch for the dripping. She ended up with an Indigo Blue stripe coming down her forehead and into her eyebrow. My bad. I did get a little liberal with the application process. I just didn't feel like I needed to be oh so careful with the amount I used. It saturates the hair quickly due to its consistency. So far this has been my favorite as far as ease of application and my daughter's due to the initial vibrancy of the colors. (The blue is the Indigo Blue of the same brand) ... show more

So I bought this hair dye about a week ago, it was suppose to arrive on Thursday the 4th of June, but, to my surprise it arrived two days sooner which just makes things all the more better. Anyways, I have dark brown hair and have been bleaching/coloring it for nearly 6 years now. I recently decided I wanted to go back to pink so I bleached my hair, (but sense it is naturally dark, I am part Irish so I get red tones when I bleach and I have dye stacked on dye)it was like a orangey blonde, So I was not expecting a bright vibrant color at all. But I have never been so happy with my hair before in my life! The color just pops and looks amazing! I previously have used Splat and Manic Panic, both of which I hate. Neither one of those brands would stick to my hair, the colors would just be dull and fade extremely fast. But I extremely recommend Adore hair dye. I shampooed my hair this morning, dried it, put the dye in for about thirty minutes then washed my hair as normal. Afterwards I wrapped my hair up in a towel to dry, it didn't even stain the towel! However I don't know how long it will last (I just colored it today) but the results after coloring are outstanding! I am extremely satisfied. ... show more

Okay, first off, this is the first time dying my hair an unnatural color, but due to an unfortunate highlighting accident I thought I should go for it. I am a medium blonde, and since I did not bleach my hair beforehand the roots did not take, though I am thinking to go darker to see if it would - but the highlighted parts took very well. I put a lot in on the first go which didn't even take half the bottle and it was a nice fuchsia pink which lightened after each wash. I have touched it up twice since then, with the same bottle, and still have a quarter of it left; but I wash my hair every other day. I know most instructions say to let the water run clear, I do not recommend that for it's just letting the color wash right out. Blow drying it after helps to set it as well. Most people say to not get it wet or sweat excessively or the color will run, I have not had this problem, it's only when I put shampoo to it does the color start to come out, and yes it is color-safe sulfate free shampoo. But for the price and quality I do say it's a really good buy and I recommend it. ... show more

First: I ordered PINK ROSE I’ve never used a semi dye quite like this one before. It was not a cream but gel type. I only needed half the bottle (2oz) It turned out gorgous and it doesn’t come off on your hands when you’re styling your hair! I love that feature.
