The bench does not support Olympic weights. Got this and Fitvids Olympic bumper weights plates (the same ones in the pictures above) for my son. Nice little beginner weight set...nope. Looking back, I now notice the plates, I got, are only on the back and barbell. It doesn't look like this was designed to used with any 2in plates originally. All they did was add a 2in sleeves to the weight pegs. The design/engineer team just called this one in. It looks and feels sturdy, but I can't really test it out due to no weights at this time. ... show more
