They have survived through snow, cold, heavy rain, high winds, and hot summers. Great quality sockets which make replacing the bulbs with standard E26 base bulbs a snap. Plugs on the end so you can keep stringing them or like me add a bug zapper at the end. A set of two strings for a total of 30 lights for $50 is very good value in my opinion. I am certainly looking to buy more in the near future. I would however NOT recommend hanging them on their own cord over long distances like in the ad pictures. The weight and strain on the cord itself (especially in high winds) could shorten their lifespan. I ran steel cables across the spans and the lights are hanging off of the cable instead. ... show more

We had these lights for almost a year and absolutely loved them, until it hailed. These lasted through the midwest freezing cold winter, snow, blistering heat and brutal winds but not hail. Every single bulb completely shattered and now we have glass all over our patio and yard.

The media could not be loaded. The packaging was a 50/50. There’s two sets of the lights and the top set was a bit more unorganized than the bottom set which made set up a little bit of a hassle in the beginning after I realized the bottom set is meant to be the set you start hanging with.The lights were somewhat easy to unravel though and I did appreciate that the lights have a secure hook on them as well. The light bulbs do seem to be made out of plastic and I received two spare ones along with a card stating within one year of purchase they would send free replacement bulbs from the manufacturer. I did expect the bulbs to be a bit closer together so if you’re using these lights for a larger space this is perfect but for a smaller space I would recommend lights that aren’t so far from each other. The lights seem durable and fit for outside due to them being plastic bulbs. The brightness is a warm medium light is perfect for nighttime but not overly harsh. Overall, the price for the product is amazing and a potential future buy again. ... show more

The lights were super easy to hang. I like that the intensity is adjustable. The app allows you to link the lights to your music that is playing which is great for outdoor events. It is also great that the light are water proof and made from unbreakable material.
