I’ve been very impressed with the Instant Pot Duo Plus 9-in-1 Multicooker. It has become one of the most-used appliances in my kitchen because it combines so many functions into one machine. I’ve used it as a pressure cooker, slow cooker, rice cooker, and steamer, and it performs well in each mode. One of the biggest advantages is how much time it saves. Meals that would normally take hours can be ready in a fraction of the time, and the pressure cooking function is especially great for soups, stews, beans, and tougher cuts of meat. The stainless-steel inner pot is durable, easy to clean, and doesn’t retain odors. The control panel is user-friendly, and I appreciate the variety of preset cooking programs. The safety features also provide peace of mind when pressure cooking. This is a great instant pot. I would recommend it. It works great. Lots of choices for cooking modes. Love the sterilize feature. Great customer service as first one got "LOST IN THE MAIL" as it was shipped without hiding the contents. The stainless steel lining is was completes the package.

Am pleased overall with functionality and ease of use. Couple things to consider if you're on the fence: This relates to the saute feature only: if you're sauteing anything more than a medium onion or trying to brown a decent amount of cubed stew meat you should probably fire up a pan instead (or brown in smaller batches). It gets hot enough but seems to struggle STAYING hot enough and you'll risk overcooking whatever you're trying to brown. After you pressure cook a savory meal the lid gasket retains the smell so strongly that you'll think you forgot to wash the lid. Consider swapping the spare gasket (included) for sweet/rice type dishes. I've only had my instapot for a couple weeks so there might be a better way to deal with this. Otherwise it's a pretty solid purchase!

First time pressure cooking user and I was nervous. That being said, I’ve used this a dozen times now and I love it! Easy to use, and a great addition to a busy life. This instant pot makes the process of cooking so much better. Rice isn’t sticking to the bottom of the pot, the short ribs I cooked were tender, and the chicken breast I JUST cooked were juicy and cooked through! The size is big enough to cook 4x4 short ribs standing up, 2x big chicken breasts laying down (you can squeeze a 3rd). I also made stir fry rice in it easily. Easy to clean as well. I love it!

This tool is great. I can sear things on the sauté function without burning ingredients, add liquid, lift the brown residue with a spoon, toss in your dry beans and go do something else for an hour until it calls you. One of it’s strengths is making fall off the bone tender meat out of cheap, tough cuts like shoulder and butt. I don’t need to remember to soak beans overnight to have chilli for dinner and I no longer need to babysit a stove pot for hours unable to multitask
