This is the first pressure cooker ive ever used so I was really intimidated at first, but using this was so easy. I love all the safety features, that was my main concern. Just taking it out of the box I could tell it was a high quality, build to last, type of product. The price is definitely worth it. The different functions make cooking so convenient. If I need to sauté something before slow cooking, I can just throw all my ingredients in and do both using the same pot. My favorite feature is the stainless steel pot, this means I dont have to worry about the scratches, wear, and peeling you get when using non stick pots. The first time I used this I cooked the most tender port shoulder, in only 30 minutes! The clean up was surprising. I was expecting a mess when opening in the lid but there was none. It didnt even need any scrubbing, just a quick soapy rinse. I definitely recommend this pressure cooker. The quality is amazing, and the size is perfect for my 2 person household. The leftovers lasted for almost a week! The cooking and clean up couldn't be any easier. Im excited to learn and try some more recipes on this. ... show more

This is the first time I've used a pressure cooker, and was a little intimidated by all the settings. But! Once you have a recipe with some general times and settings, the Instant Pot is really easy to use. I was really pleased with how quickly the food cooked, and how easy it was to clean. The preheat took about 20 minutes before the food actually started cooking (on the pressure cooker setting), but for the recipe I was using, I saved about 7 hours of stovetop cooking! I also tried out the sauté option, which worked beautifully! Nothing stuck to the bottom, the food cooked evenly, and the clean-up was a breeze. I haven't tried cooking "one-pot" meals, yet, but the pot itself seems very spacious, so I'm not too concerned. So far, this device is worth every penny! ... show more

I wish there were a 4.5 star rating. This is a great addition to our kitchen, so much so that it now stays on the counter instead of getting put away between uses. Love the saute setting. Got it because we have used Instant Pots to make yogurt, which is so simple. The lack of a full-throated 5-star review is that it doesn't have a simmer setting. So I have found myself fumbling around trying to find something between saute and slow-cook that will keep everything at a simmer.
