This is one nice umbrella! It's really big and blocks out sun better than any other I've owned! The umbrella when assembled is about 9 feet tall. It can shade a 42'-54' table. Works with round, square or rectangle tables. The frame is made from aluminum. It is powder coated with a rust free coating. The ribs are made of high quality steel. The coating is bronze in color and thickly applied. The pole and frame is all coated. This is great for outdoors, you can leave it in table and not worry about rust. Stands up to wind and rain. The canopy measures 8.2 ft in diameter when fully open. The umbrella canopy fabric is 100% water resistant polyester. It's also fade resistant. I ordered the Green Color. I have had this set up outside for almost a month and the color still looks brand new. The canopy is vented to allow a breeze to flow through it. It's so easy to assemble. Fully assembled in under 4 minutes. Comes in two pieces, the frame and one pole to attach. The pole is screwed on. To fully erect the umbrella, there is a hand crank. This crack allows you to open and close with ease. It also has a push button tilt feature. This is great for the summer. I live in Florida so I can use it all year round. I'm very happy with this umbrella. The materials used to make it are very durable and well crafted. It's not only functional but, beautiful. Can be used in a retail setting or in your own home. This patio umbrella arrived quickly and in excellent shape. The tilt and crank works perfect, hoping it continues after reading some of the other reviews. The dark green color looks great on our patio and shades very well, I love the way it looks! We're using ours as a free standing umbrella since we don't have a patio table with a hole in the middle. I read so many reviews on different stands and how they fail to keep the umbrella from flopping over in the wind so I wasn't sure which one would work best at keeping our umbrella upright, plus they were all so expensive! What we wound up using instead was an old concrete tetherball stand we had from when our kids were small. It's a good 50lbs or better and not going anywhere! The pipe was just a tad bit larger than the 1.5" umbrella pole so when the screw was tightened it worked perfect without wobbling. It doesn't look as pretty as a store bought umbrella stand but it works great! This umbrella is a perfect addition to our patio, I'm very glad I bought it! 😊

Color (dark green) is perfect, and is what I expected. The material is nice and thick - I can immediately feel a difference in temperature when I'm under it versus without the umbrella. Umbrella cranks up and down very easily. Piece is heavy to move as it is top heavy, and long. I use it on my deck in a stand and even when in the down position I feel I can't leave it like that but need to take it out of the stand and lean it in the corner of the house and privacy screen of the deck. For someone taller moving it would probably not be a problem but I'm 4'8" so proportionally not a great fit. My height also means I can't reach the tilt button - luckily I have step stools everywhere! I just haven't tried it yet. I'll update it I have any issues with it. I think this umbrella is perhaps best set in a good sized, adequately heavy, outdoor table (in a stand, not just through the center hole) where it can remain in place even when not in use.

We’ve had this umbrella for over 2 years now and it’s spent 99% of that time in the Texas sun. We’re not great about storing it in times of low use (fall/winter) and I’m amazed at how well this umbrella has held up. Not only does it still crank up & down easily, but the most impressive thing is that the fabric color is still as vibrant as it was on the day it arrived. We’ve had several other umbrellas that begin fading within weeks of being exposed to the sun, and this one’s going on 2+ years with no sign of fading at all. Really happy with the purchase, would highly recommend.

Before buying this one in particular I did a lot of research, and looking around for a good quality (and decently priced) outdoor umbrella for my backyard table. I really needed one during that time too because I was having a lot of outdoor parties, and it was very hot last summer so I wanted an umbrella that would do a good job at keeping everyone cooled off... At least somewhat cooled off. This umbrella did the job! I've had no problems with it so far, and I even forgot to put it away this year during the rainy/windy season (oops); however it's still holding up really well. It may look a little more faded now (FYI I picked the forest green color) just from it getting wet, and then drying up in the sun, but other then that its working out great!

I've had this umbrella for the past 2½ years sitting in a stand on my southern exposure deck in Northern California where the temperature in the summer regularly tops 100°and the wind blows 20-30mph can gust to 60mph. During the spring summer and fall the umbrella is open. If it gets too windy I'll close it. I have a very heavy stand with a tall shaft the umbrella base sets in. That is the key to it's stability. The dark green fabric hasn't faded and provides great uv protection. I like the attached tie to secure it when it's closed (it keeps the fabric from whipping in the wind). This is a sturdy well made umbrella.

Previously purchased the same product in a beige color. After 4 years of being left outside nearly yearround, it had some mold and discoloration. I tried washing with several different products and techniques to no ava popil. Last resort was pressure washer and as I figure it shredded it. After purchasing this new green color, I was able to find replacement canopy for under $20 so now we have two. Mechanics have held up over 4 years. It's been in severe storms of all kinds and didn't fail. I'd say it's a quality product, not sure you can expect a neglected canopy to last over 3 years so I'm happy with it. I hope this was helpful
