Very easy to assemble, even with sparse instruction and came with a useful list of the various light combos and patterns available. The quality is really poor for this product. Item arrived in a plain box with no instructions. Easy enough to figure out, but have to look online for the right app to use to control the lights. One strand was not working even though the wire did not appear to be broken. There were at least three lights that did not have all three RGB elements working, resulting in mismatched colors. The strands were also too short to reach the base without really streching the springs that affix the lights to the base. A moderate wind would seriously damage the tree if it were installed as is out of the box. Too many issues and no quality control. I ended up sending the thing back as it has too many issues. I have no idea why the ratings are so high for this tree. Complete junk! Do not waste your money on this. ... show more

I bought three of these Christmas cones from Amazon over a two-year span. I thought I was buying the same product as I just told Amazon to reorder what I had ordered in the past. The issue was that each Christmas cone had different ways of connecting the light string to the base. The last one to arrive used what I call a very cheap spring method that, in my opinion, would be the weakest link in the whole system. I guess if more than two springs snap, then I will be asking for a refund or a set of replacement springs in the future. ... show more
