I got tired of buying ice bags once or twice a week at $4 a piece. I was told these portable ice machines make tiny ice that melts in seconds. Not this unit. Pour water in and you get a decent size ice cube and about 10 minutes. I should have bought this a year ago and saved $$$

This ice machine doesn't have ice melting off before you can use it like others on the market. It makes cubes not bullets or pebbles. The build quality is robust and seems like it will hold up for a while.

Love this ice machine. Pretty quiet and churns out ice all day as long as it has water. I only use filtered water and the ice is so clear.

I am not impressed with this machine. SUPER LOUD!! There is no way to be able to keep it in the area I have it. It is SO loud and disruptive! The ice is very decent but the water that makes the next batch splashes on the fresh ice. I was putting the made ice in an ice bag in the freezer. Later I went to use it and it was a frozen ball of ice. The water made it completely freeze together. Uugh. It was easy to set up but I immediately wanted to sell or send it back. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Even on the thinnest setting, the ice is dispensed on large sheets that you have to manually break apart. Would not recommend.
