Great for Big Round Pools

Keeping the winter cover from sagging is difficult with a 24' pool surrounded by a deck. But this huge pillow solves the problem. It takes a while to inflate, and my vacuum cleaner's reverse port worked better than my air compressor. The air coming out of the vacuum cleaner started to get hot after a few minutes, and I had the let the system rest. The pillow material is thick (and I hope durable). I wish we had discovered this product years ago. It's an excellent solution.

Awesome pillow

I have always ordered a 4x4 pillow for my pool for years and always fought the leaves and water on top the cover. I found this pillow and thought I’d give it a try. This pillow is huge and the best thing it has holes on all 4 corners for the rope. I was able to tighten the cover leaving no slack. The leaves are falling and blow right off the cover and the rain runs down the side of the pool instead of pooling on the cover. Won’t know how it holds up until winter. But so far I LOVE it!!

poor valve quality
Only after the first frost did the cushion leak, and in the spring, when the pool was covered, I found this valve completely broken into several pieces. The quality of the valve is very poor, because the cushion was inflated to ~60% of its capacity and the valve did not come into contact with the pool water and was under the cover.

IT WORKS, BUY IT!

LISTEN TO ME, this is worth EVERY penny and MORE! This will save your marriage when opening the pool! We bought this last fall. We have over 15 mature trees in our yard. We leave water and we do have a winter cover, we use chemicals and do what you’re supposed to do to reuse the remaining water. We struggle hard every year to open and reused the water. We have an 18 foot round pool, 52” deep. We cover the pool before fall leaves start to fall to keep the sanity, never works. This year….Closed the pool end of September , used a solar cover as a base, THIS AMAZING PILLOW, and our winter cover. We opened the pool today! IT WORKED. The leaves rolled off, and did not sit and leak into the water. We have a little bit of regular clean up but our water was clear. I would have got in it with no issues! Seriously, buy this thing if you struggle every spring! (These pictures were taken today, before, middle and after. It’s stayed all winter, lots of weather, including a foot of snow and high winds. )
