Solid bed frame for the money.
The Zinus Suzanne bed frame came double boxed for protection in shipment. All the parts were nicely packaged and nothing was damaged. Assembly was a breeze with just myself. Very solid when put together yet light enough to move around in the bedroom. The bamboo wood accents are beautifully finished along with the black metal framing. For a relatively inexpensive bed frame, this is nicer than bed frames I’ve seen for double the money. Highly recommended. ... show more

Simply buy the insurance and don’t be dumb.
Good quality bed frame. I love how modern and simple it is as well as the sturdiness. I read a lot of reviews talking about damage during delivery; on a package this large and heavy, don’t be stupid like others who ordered the frame and just pay the extra money for insurance and peace of mind. I read some reviews about how the wood wasn’t quality but there are no issues with mine. The ONLY slight issue I had was with the instructions being vague (they use letters as well as the alphabet to label parts making it a little more complicated than is necessary). The USB port is amazing to have! I read some reviews about how the cords will be in your face.. simple way to fix that, use your brain for once, stick the cords behind the frame and not in your face. LOVE the frame! ... show more

Sturdy & easy assembly
Ordered a twin size. Easy instructions and few steps. Put together in 30min or less. The bed looks nice and feels sokid and sturdy. My son loves it especially the shelf and charging port. Plus we can slide storage containers underneath. The only area to call attention to, the bed sits exactly on top of the frame. This is perfect to have no edges to hit yourself on, but the mattress could potentially move and shift. They provided no slip strips on slats, so it should be ok but only time will tell. ... show more

Great bed frame, ok USB
Color: Chestnut Brown Size: King Style: Shelf with USB Ports Pattern Name: Bed Frame Only
We ordered the king sized frame with USB. I have zero complaints about the frame. It was easy to assemble, solidly constructed, doesn't move or make noise 😉. My only issue is the USB hub that's included. It's a USB 1.0 and absolutely could not be slower. I've replaced mine with USB 3.0 ports. Only reason I didn't give this 5 stars. ... show more

A sturdy and affordable bed frame.
Color: Chestnut Brown Size: King Style: Shelf with USB Ports Pattern Name: Bed Frame Only
We got the King size. Delivery via UPS was delayed once for unknown reasons but I think it may have had something to do with how heavy the item is. Besides it still came a week earlier than predicted. My partner and I put the frame together in about an hour. The ratchet provided is phenomenal. The directions aren’t perfect but still easy to follow and the fact that every piece is numbered is very helpful. I had read reviews of other Zinus metal bed frames saying the holes didn’t line up and was worried about what we would do if that happened to us. But it didn’t! There were a few moments where the pieces were so exact and so sung together we worried that perhaps it would work but with some shimmying everything worked out fine and all pieces are screwed together snug and sound. The USB ports are amazing. We live in a very old house with very few, poorly placed outlets in the bedroom so the mere fact of USB ports in the headboard was a prime selling factor for us. ... show more

Very sturdy
Color: Chestnut Brown Size: King Style: Shelf with USB Ports Pattern Name: Bed Frame Only
This frame is HEAVY. Incredibly heavy. Unless you are a fairly strong person, you need help. You will also need help putting it together because of the weight of the headboard. It's so nice once put together though. Worth the price. Very pretty. Just also very very heavy.

Super easy assembly and a great bed

This was probably one of the easiest pieces of furniture to assemble that I have ever purchased. And it is great quality. It’s the perfect height and I still have some under bed storage. I also love the shelf and the USB ports. I will definitely look for Zinus products in the future!

some blemishes on the product, USB ports were not placed correctly, and tape wore out fast
Update 6/30/26: About a year ago (1 year into ownership) the tape on the slats stopped being tape. I was rotating the mattress once per 6 months but other than that leaving it alone. I've dropped the review from 4/5 to 3/5. It's annoying having to constantly re-align the mattress. It has held up well, though. I don't use them often but the USBs seem to be functioning fine still and the structural integrity seems perfectly normal too. There were scrapes on metal and chips on wood as well as some of the rubber in the middle support beam being all bunched up and not flat (not fixable). The plate that holds the usb ports is not straight. By the time I noticed this it was nearly built and too difficult to get under there and see if the thing can be removed and placed properly. That's pretty annoying, and maybe one day I will fix it if it keeps bothering me. Other than that, the instructions were decent and it seems pretty nice. I'm still waiting on my new mattress to get here and only time will tell about how well this holds up. I'm probably somewhere between 350-375 and intend to have someone who is probably 200+ on it soon and who knows what the future holds. The mattress I'm going to place on it is 100+ pounds. Not sure if closer to 150 or 100. I do hope this holds up well. My previos mattress support was a Zinus SmartBase which seemed great. It did end up with a bent bolt when I was moving and it made it very difficult to assemble it again. Taking it part to build this new frame was simple, though. Very odd. It also started creaking. Visually, this one is nice, despite the person I mentioned who would be on it soon saying it's "ugly". That's not her problem, though. ... show more
