    • Nice metal hose, just used it for the first time June 5th.
Had to do some weed spraying and this hose did not disappoint me. I think the inside diameter of the hose might be a little smaller than some of my other hoses. Or it could just be my imagination. It worked very good with my chemical sprayer. Some of my misc. hoses don't put out enough pressure when using the sprayer. This one worked well. The connectors worked well joining to another hose and attaching to the water bib. Nice and light and I think the best thing I liked about it is that it was easy to coil around my arm for storage. ... show more

While I found the hose somewhat lightweight, my elderly mother found it heavy, and I had intended it for her to use. The hose reminds me of those for hooking up to indoor industrial faucets, those for salon hair washing. I don't know how it would hold up over time in dirt mud rain, but the advantage I see for outdoors is a hose that won't get nicked easily by errant weed whacking. But honestly in Florida with lightning season, I would prefer to be holding a rubber hose than steel one. The length and weight turned out not appropriate to replace a front hose for her to use, so for now this has been delegated to a basket not sure what to do with it; if it were shorter it would make a good indoor sink hose, but it is 15 feet and that is just too long for that. A move-in welcome gift for someone to a new house, ok, but not good as a replacement hose for my mom's needs as too heavy, too short to be a replacement for an existing hose, and that is not to say that the hose is not good as it appears solidly made, comes with rubber gaskets and plumbing tape to help prevent water leaks at the spigot. However, for a replacement for my elderly mom to use, it is not good for her because even though I did find it light enough, for her, it was too heavy, keeping in mind she's in her 90s and she does still use a garden hose including for washing her car! ... show more

Received my 15 ft Heavy Duty Metal Garden Hose the other day and so far it is pretty much what I expected. It comes with 3 extra washers and some Teflon tape that can be used to wrap the thread of your spigot before screwing the hose on which helps to make for a better seal. The 15 ft length is just what I was looking for to add to my current 50 ft expandable hose since the 50ft was just a little to short for some of the things I needed the hose for. The hose itself seems fairly well made and it is pretty flexible. I can coil it up as easily as my expandable hose when I want to hook it on my hose holder and it has not kinked when using it. I mean it's a hose and like most hoses I have purchased in the past they work fine in the beginning. As for its durability only time will tell if it will last longer than any of the others I have had but so far I've had no issues and given the metal exterior I would hope it lasts a long time. So if your are looking for a short hose or need to extend the length of your existing hose you may want to give this one a try. ... show more

    • Surprisingly light weight
When I saw the description of a hose made from stainless steel that was light weight and flexible I was skeptical. I decided to give it a try and am happy to report it is light weight and flexible as advertised. It remains to be seen how durable it is but I have every reason to believe it will be better than the flexible expanding hoses that seem to last just one season. The hose is easy to maneuver and coil back up when you are done with it. I have a ceramic flower pot I coil mine into. It is kink free and a joy to use. I haven’t tried to see what might happen if you drove over it with a car tire. I would not be surprised if it collapsed but I prefer to keep my new hose intact so I won’t leave it laying on the driveway. The ends are made of brass and should hold up fine. When I need a new hose I think I will choose this over the flexible expanding hoses I have switched to. ... show more

We needed a lead hose to bridge off from a splitter to our next watering extension. This shorter length was the perfect accessory to accomplish that goal, and while a longer hose would have technically worked, this one got the job done without adding bulky excess. The hose itself is remarkably lightweight, easily moved, stays in place, and seems very durable so far. Sometimes, heavy duty is the way to go. Our hoses normally get eaten up by the sun, but I see this isn't an issue with this product. The hose appears to be sturdy enough to last a while. No issues with kinks and is very easy to use and store. Price is great!

This is a very nice hose. He passes through good pressure, most of that is the short length but its also the small entry and exit. Coils nicely after using. Also, I find this to be lighter than a traditional hose. The big downside for me is I live in Arizona so we normally must buy a hose a year. This seems to do better in the heat. But it can hold some heat as well. I would recommend if the short length work better for you. But if you need longer it I am not sure if its worth it. ... show more
